But... But what about inflation of cost when you begin buying all the donuts and increase demand.

I think he's three orders of magnitude off on his energy calculations, but I CBA to do the math to check.

A Food calorie is actually a thousand Energy calories (sometimes they label them properly on packages as kcal). One small calorie is enough to heat 1 gram of water 1 degree, or about 4.2 joules. One food calorie (kcal, kilocalorie, large calorie) is enough to heat a kilogram of water 1 degree, or about 4200 joules.

On an episode of Bang Goes The Theory (a science show in the UK) they blow a hole in a sheet of steel with an explosion made with the contents of a minibox of cereal. Its truly fascinating how much energy is contained in a small amount of food.

Here's a clip of it. Jem's explosive breakfast - snap, crackle, bang! - Bang Goes the Theory - BBC One Picture that explosion times a trillion.

the more donuts you'd buy, the more expensive every second would be.
Eventually you may buy all the ready available rav materials, but you'd never actually be able to buy impossibly many.

It's not as if i made that pic, it just shows my point of view that the american measure system is illogical and retarded. And you can't argue that.

look, the metric system is good and all, but calling people cunts because of the standard units of measurements and spellings of words used by their country is just ******* stupid.

We totally should adopt the metric system, but calling everyone an idiot or a cunt is only going to inspire reactions like the one nevrit had.

Do you know how pretentious you would sound if you lived in America, and refused to use anything but metric? It's not our fault we use an archaic measurement system. We use what's given to us.

i agree more with metric but a few notes
sour and most those spelling we use (cept color) your thing on the right saying the metric way is write is a little bias saying sour=sour is saying my way compared to my way theres no real argumentative stance there just pointing out you disagree
lastly the boiling point of water thing is cus in the old days thermometers with pure water would freeze or boil so they added salt or something and it allowed the water in there to measure lower and higher temperatures (so 0 and 212 are freeing and boiling of that subtance
