Epic Set for a horror movie...you wake up trapped into this house...bam...you're being watched, your comrades disappear one after another...
User avatar #173 to #155 - leonhardtv (09/12/2013) [-]
So basically the Cabin In The Woods with no setup
User avatar #182 to #173 - thesimonved ONLINE (09/12/2013) [-]
Didn't see that one, is it worth anything?
User avatar #187 to #182 - elbrysobrony ONLINE (09/12/2013) [-]
It parodies and lampshades nearly every single horror movie trope, while still being a legitimate horror movie.

If you don't really care about spoilers, watch this video. This alone made me want to watch this movie.

the cabin in the woods - full monster scene (extended)

Hope you like blood.

User avatar #191 to #187 - thesimonved ONLINE (09/12/2013) [-]

User avatar #185 to #184 - leonhardtv (09/12/2013) [-]
Well, its entire Third Act is a moment of Surprise.
User avatar #186 to #185 - thesimonved ONLINE (09/12/2013) [-]

That's pretty ghastly, imagine how you must feel when, really, the real world is perishing & you have to live in a terrarium....
User avatar #200 to #134 - perishing (09/12/2013) [-]
I am world.
User avatar #129 - babs (09/12/2013) [-]

#124 - pwnmissilereborn **User deleted account** (09/12/2013) [-]
But does it have internet?
User avatar #26 - ilovemyguns (09/12/2013) [-]
That's here in Las Vegas, being sold by a bank (bank owned) for 1.7 million. The previous owner bought it for 2 million. Interesting fact, I've seen the above ground photos, and they're not much. 5,000 sqft, the upper level has two emergency exits and air conditioning from above.
User avatar #39 to #26 - sepheroth (09/12/2013) [-]
Where in Vegas?
User avatar #101 to #39 - rieskimo (09/12/2013) [-]
Buried underneath The Lucky 38.
User avatar #31 to #26 - unknownmamba (09/12/2013) [-]
Wait is this the underground house? Because I've only seen that from the outside my Aunt lives near it so I see it a lot when I go down to Vegas (I live up in Reno)
User avatar #33 to #31 - ilovemyguns (09/12/2013) [-]
You would only see two small exits that look like it should be in the slums.
User avatar #34 to #33 - unknownmamba (09/12/2013) [-]
Yup, they're little holes completely out of place in the neighborhood and fenced off

On a related note, the movie Blast From the Past is really enjoyable. At least I liked it.
#12 - algorath (09/12/2013) [-]
Its amazing how "Perfect" this thing looks, as if the super cheesy and over the top happy interior design of the place would make the family living there forget that the world is being torn apart.
#58 to #12 - anonymous (09/12/2013) [-]
I guess it's for the sake of smaller children.
User avatar #146 - pokimone (09/12/2013) [-]
I don't know... I mean, its cool and all, but I think the clearly fake scenery and such would only make me depressed in a situation like that. A trick or cruel imitation of what I'm missing, and what I might never see again.
#181 - anonymous (09/12/2013) [-]
What if the Earth is really a sort of bunker from an old intergalactic war, and we are the survivors of a particular species? That could explain why it doesn't seem to be other intelligent life forms anywhere near us. Maybe they all died in the war, or even forgot about us.

Also, who was phone?
#180 - azinfoo (09/12/2013) [-]
Only a year? Wouldn't the radiation outside still be too potent to live in after a year? I thought you'd have to wait much longer than that to be able to leave without some hazmat radiation suit.

I would prefer something more utilitarian. You start fooling yourself and you go crazy quicker…

And the next COD preorder map is...
User avatar #135 - durkadurka ONLINE (09/12/2013) [-]
It seems kinda wasteful for a bomb shelter. If I had that kind of space and money to build one, it would be far more utilitarian (ie, able to self-sustain almost indefinitely).
