This is just stupid. How is not what, so this post is invalid. For example, I understand "how" OP posted this, but not "what" OP was doing, because it was wrong. Free will is a choice between right or wrong, the same as right or left. You literally cannot exist as you are without it. If your lost, you choose how to get home, regardless of what your brain is made of, the choice is right or wrong.

Does anybody know what it says on page 72?

The only way to prove that 'free will' exists in the form we are discussing is to perform two opposite reactions at the exact same time, which is obviously impossible.

So you can't ever really prove free will exists or that things aren't predetermined. It's all based on an idea that is impossible to prove or disprove.

People who believe in fate still look before they cross the street.

And yet for every time someone has told me that everything is predetermined and that there is no changing anything I can't help but notice that they always look both ways before crossing the street.

I think I have free will. I choose to write this post in this way. Now, it's completely possible that this "choice" is nothing but an illusion, and this is all predetermined by chemical reactions in the brain.
But there's no way to differentiate between "true" free will, and this illusion. Therefore, there is no practical difference between the two. So, in my opinion, it is completely irrelevant and I am satisfied with what I've got.
