many think that there were only jews in the camps, but there were many others...like what was said in the tumbler above...there were homosexuals who were pink...people involved in politics were red, and Jehovah's witnesses who wore purple

You can say what you want, but I always admired Hitler, not for what he has done, but for how he did it. If you can mesmerise a whole country into thinking the masterrace is tall, blond with blue eyes, while you're short, brown haired and brown eyed, you're good at talking.
In my opnion, Hitler was a great speaker, and he managed to get Germany out of a great economic depression, it's just a shame he did it at the cost of other people.

It's stories like his that make me enjoy history just a little bit more.

I mean, yes he did some of the most terrible things in that decade, and that entire century everything went to **** , but the things were truly terrific and horrifying at the same time. I mean, two world wars, Stalin, at least 50 conflicts and wars, industrialization of a third of the entire world world- so much grief, pain and suffering wrapped in so many good things, like placing a man on the moon and curing many otherwise fatal diseases.

I must say though that the stories of Hitler and Stalin are truly impressive among everything else that was going on at the time.

FUN FACT: Adolf Hitler studied the science of sociology and determined statistically people with blonde hair and blue eyes had the best statistic for things (by things I have no idea what things) but he wasn't eliminating people because they were just groups he did not like he was trying to make a superior race.

Really... You are all saying that he didn't do anything wrong and that he was just being human. He killed 6 million jewish people in the name of good, but that doesn't make him unresponsible for doing what he did. People do unforgivable things in the name of good all the time. That doesn't make it ok to do. I hate the people in this post because they all act like he's ******* normal. Does a normal person kill people just because he doesn't like them. No... they don't. So, that's the end of my rant.

Here's my take on this: It's easy for you to say because you weren't there. If someone killed your entire family you would probably consider him/her a monster. Now try multiplying that by millions. Hitler was a monster and we should remember him as such, to remind ourselves to avoid people with ideals even remotely resembling his.

Yes, he was a human. No, he was not a sane, reasonable, or compassionate human by any measures. There was clearly something separating him from the rest of humanity, because very few people would actually even consider burning and slaughtering entire populations. The same goes for Stalin, who I think is undermentioned when talking about terrible massacres of history but oh well.

That moment when Queenalgia is so ******* wrong

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Holocaust 6 million jews
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porajmos 220,000 to 1.5 million Romani
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_homosexuals_in_Nazi_Germany_and_the_Holocaust This link is long so I spoilered it, but basically less than 15,000 homosexuals died, which is still terrible.

He actually killed more than 11 million, it was 6 million jews.

Hitler is by no means the worst in history, either.
Nearly every Empire spent their whole reign enforcing a religion and killing those who didn't obey.
And if those Empires reigned a few hundred years, and every now and then a new country was dragged into it, each time purging the heretics, how many do you think died each time?
