I don't particularly care about this argument, however I do want to put one thought to everyone. Not having a gun in the house has been proven to signifigantly reduce the likelyhood of someone commiting suicide.

A person who wants to commit suicide WILL commit suicide.
No suicidal person ever has said "boy I think im gonna off myself today. wait, i dont have a gun! OH WELL I guess I'll go to work instead!"

But if you take away my guns, how am I supposed to massacre fresh fruit on the weekends?
User avatar #189 - shamusogrady (08/23/2013) [-]
I don't think it's fair to take guns away from the responsible and the people whose right it is to have one. And just think for a second, if i stood in a group of people with a gun and fired it in a threateningly manner, I'm pretty damn sure everyone there would wish they had a gun at that moment.

Jesus you Americans can be stupid sometimes. Your logic here is "we need guns to protect ourselves from people with guns". Now it may be true that gangsters can get their hands on them anyway, but honestly if they were harder to get less people will have them, including gangsters. Now you can say this is ******** but statistically the USA has a pretty high gun-crime rate compared to a huge amount of the western world.

but for serious now
this is a real question:

aren't a lot of the really zealous anti-gun people usually from a large city, or at least a more left-wing part of a state or the country?
I know for a fact that here in tucson, every single person I know that thinks "guns are bad" has never even fired one before, and has no desire to try it.
I'm not saying that means they have no right to an opinion, but does something like that NOT make their argument a bit less solid?

Why the hell is Starbucks weighing in on gun rights?
Politicians need to make their stances on controversial issues known so that people can vote with their ideologies, but ******* no one else does.

The little faggot is like 11 and he drank ALL the coffee. Sell your starbuck stocks, it's gonna come crashing down like a space shuttle flown by an asian woman.
