They're not fat; they're America-thin.

They're fat, people in america are not that averagely fat.

Granted, yes quite a few people in America are fat ***** but not all of us are.

The average weight for a Man in the US is 88.3 kg (194.7 lb)
The average weight for a Woman in the US is 74.7 kg (164.7 lb)

Matter of fact the United States is no longer the worlds fattest country. We are now ranked as #2. Wanna know who's got us beat? Mexico.

So that is how Phanact looks! Either that or this is not OC.

I'm 5' 9'' and 250 pounds, manage to work an eight hour shift six days a week, (on my feet no less, I'm a cashier)

How the **** did they get away with saying they were too fat to work? I know employers discriminate against fat people but JEEZ.
#59 to #36 - klutzyspy (08/23/2013) [-]
why does a cashier stand up?
User avatar #40 to #36 - zdawg (08/23/2013) [-]
Hell, I'm 5' 11" and 350 and I lead an extremely active lifestyle, dear god.
User avatar #49 to #40 - CrazyWhiteGurl (08/23/2013) [-]
I was trying to say that it isn't impossible for fat people to work, especially something taxing like being on your feet for the better part of 8 hours.

Some of the English folks here said the lightest was roughly 260 pounds in imperial measurements (Yankee me doesn't know what a stone is teehe) So I was shocked that they were using the "too fat to work card"

I could understand if they were LITERALLY at landwhale status where they'd need scooters and **** , but they seem like "normal" fat people (aka the kind that can walk and function normally society)

I completely understand, I was adding to your comment. As a large person I walk all over campus, it's about 1/2 - 1 miles to each class both way, I work out frequently, and also have practices for my particular "sport"

It seems pretty crazy to me that people are getting benefits just for being a little larger, for gods sake there are people twice their size doing great work

I suppose there's some truth to this.
22k probably isn't enough to cover their monthly food bill.
User avatar #146 - vrthbvyfa (08/23/2013) [-]
Between 4 people that isn't enough to live a decent life, especially considering how much of that needs to go to food. They really should just get off of their lazy fat asses and work.

This is whats wrong with Americas system.
For years my father has been unable to get disability because of his back. but fat people can complain on how overweight they are and they believe that amount of money still inst enough. that sickens me.
User avatar #129 to #125 - crazyolitis (08/23/2013) [-]
I think they're British. It's in pounds, not in dollars.
User avatar #131 to #129 - mrjweezy (08/23/2013) [-]
Sorry i miss read that. But still that makes me sick that people can get away with that sort of thing.
User avatar #134 to #131 - crazyolitis (08/23/2013) [-]
I completely agree.

thats a Euro (I believe) money sign, not an American one..
User avatar #133 to #130 - crazyolitis (08/23/2013) [-]
It's not the Euro. The euro is more like a weird E. That's a pound, friend.

Well then, go back to sleep. The PC is a bad thing when you've got a headache. Only makes it worse. But only stop if you want

They aren't even THAT fat...well I mean they're pretty fat but **** they can stand up. So even a ******* desk job would work for them. God that pisses me off.
#180 - mattesweita (08/23/2013) [-]
Tax money going to feeding fat people for beeing fat... cut that cost a little and they would be fitt enough to work again

My family of 7 and my 2 cats lived off of about £21,000 a year for around 5 years and we were just fine. This is actually pretty disgusting.
User avatar #144 - chiefrunnyjeans (08/23/2013) [-]
There are fatter people here in America that still get off their asses and work. What a bunch of pussies.
