the only thing i know bout englands battles is that the great army of vikings known as "the great heathen army" invaded england in 865 AD. the brits pissed them selves so much they tried to bribe the vikings to leave, the vikings of course took the bribe and then killed and conquered them anyways. these guys are probably the only guys to do so. the vikings were defeated later but they did maintain a large portion of england and had it under control for quite some time. Probably gonna be thumbed down for this but this made my viking blood boil.

Ultimately England wasn't able to keep land in France in the 100 years war and started losing more battles at the end of the war so I consider that a defeat , and I would say currently it's pretty sad we can't even get some bloody muslims out of the country. That in my books is not going to be a defeat but humiliating in the future, do you know what I mean? but yeah
