Wow, lot's of people are mad that this guy took an idea from the internet and changed it to fit what he thought was right.

Guys, in the movie, which this is taken from, Nick Fury say, "Excuse me, but do we go to your planet and blow stuff up?" Implying he thinks he is an alien, not a god. It is addressed by Loki that "These human's think us immortal, care to test that?" Implying that they do not know if they are immortal, showing doubt to their godlike status, since they don't know about their own divinity. Lastly, the only child of Loki we see, despite there being Hera, Jormundur, and Fenrir, is Slepnir, and that could just be because he is Odin's steed. This might be to show that hey, these are mythical legends, possibly based in the fact that aliens came from another planet.

In other words, want to bitch at someone for saying that they were aliens and not gods, go bitch to the history channel!!!!

all these arguments come down to our definition of a god, if i saw someone like thor who has crazy strength and can ******* fly and call for lighting, and didn't know he came from a world were people do that on the regular, then yea we on earth would consider him a god.

From what I remember from religion class, the Jews do believe Jesus existed, but that he was just a good man, not the savior.

Sometimes, I regret the fact that the movies have brought in all these new fans. I feel like I spend more time explaining **** to people now than I do talking with people about the the things I'm explaining.

The Asgardians are aliens. They are also gods. They are a race of gods, and they don't live on planet Earth. So this entire content is basically wrong. Alien and god are not mutually exclusive, especially in the Marvelverse. This isn't ******* Stargate, where all gods are just sufficiently advanced aliens. They're actual gods, like that time the crew of the Enterprise met Apollo. You know. The Greek god. They actually met him. He's up there. Totally legit.

And if it wasn't Apollo, I apologize, it's been years since I watched the originals. But the basic point remains, even if I god the god wrong.

They are gods. They're also aliens, because they aren't 'from' here, but they're gods.

I can only imagine how much **** I'm going to have to explain once they start doing Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr. Strange. Jesus you guys, we've got a wiki and everything.

I like the "Found the Christian" comments, I'm a Deist actually, however, if I actually met Jesus, I think I'd probably believe in him afterwards, don't you?

I believe the Judaic religion accepts that Jesus existed and is maybe a prophet yet not the son of god/god himself.
