I feel the same way about Daft Punk, I've tried so hard to find it listen-able. But I just can't. Daft Punk is so overrated, it's insane. But that's just my opinion

I've been forced to listen to Abbey road and the White album by a beatlemaniac friend of mine and I could not enjoy any of it at all. I just don't see the appeal. But i guess that could be said for the music i play/listen to ( I play bass in a melodic hardcore band)

rap master race. as a rap fan i do like rock and roll, metal, funk, etc. i do think The Beatles are a little overrated, i think i only like 2 song by them, i honestly think there are many people who are better than them such as Chuck Berry, Marvin gaye, AC/DC, Atmosphere, Tupac, Issac Hayes, Metallica, etc.

>Talking about rap songs with meaningful lyrics
>Doesn't mention "Yesterday" by Atmosphere
Although changes and painting are both phenomenal songs.

but... I like all of those things...

Speaking of, Metal Heads of FJ, do you have any recommendations for people curious about the genre but new to it? I have a friend who's been recommending me an album a week for over a month now, and so far the ones I really love are:
Metallica - Master of Puppets (I've yet to hear a song of theirs I dislike)
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
Judas Priest - British Steel
Also, I looked up Bastards by Motorhead on my own and loved it. Based on that, do you have any recommendations?

You need to listen to Charlemagne by Christopher Lee. That's some epic metal voiced by Saruman.

See I don't think anyone can dislike Reggae it's like the universal sound that no one can hate

I do not require people to like the classic groups.

They must simply know of them.

I like basically any kind of music, and I don't really dislike any bands or genres. Except rap. Not too fond of that.

Country and Rock is my favorite though.

You haven't talked to a lot of metalheads if you think we're that reasonable.

We all clearly worship The Father of Lies, though. That much is true.

I like the Beatles, they have fun music. I have something like 3 anthologies on my phone from them, but to be honest I prefer the Stones..

I'm a indie fag when it comes to games. Just to me I would rather play a indie game any day then a AAA game. I mean have you played hotline miami? it's great. and yeah there is exceptions but that's just how I see it.

As a metalhead, I feel the need to point out that the whole Satan thing was really just a running joke to begin with. Nobody actually believes that except for some of the stupider kids and emo goths. It's just that some crazy PTA people started screaming about it years back, and we were like "yeah whatever sure."
