Don't you love when people use feminist as another word for mentally handicapped?

Seriously this pisses me off so much, the real feminists who actually care about equality are trumped by these ******* keyboard pussy smashers.

Both of these people are idiots o-o

I consider myself a "feminist" but I hate the negative connotation that goes along with that word.
I don't hate men.
I just believe that women should only be sexualized when they want to be (and the same goes for men).
The argument that a women was wearing too revealing of clothing isn't fair. A girl doesn't deserve to be leered at or cat called just because she wanted to wear short shorts in 100 degree (f, 30ish c).

It really isn't a compliment to be cat called. I know you guys may have good intentions, but women are raised to be afraid of being attacked, or at least, a good percent are. It's very unsettling to be walking home and get comments from men who could easily overpower you, asking how much sex is or saying "nice tits" (especially if they're in a car or a group).

The same goes with online. I livestream video games and I get comments and least every other stream, and I only have around 175 followers (most of whom follow me only because I'm a girl).
I go out of my way to cover shoulders, cleavage, and everything, and I'm still harassed.

It's okay to be talking to a girl and having an actual conversation, and to politely say "oh by the way, I think you're very pretty" as long as your make sure she won't be made to feel uncomfortable.
It's all about making sure your don't cross boundaries.
Women are twice as likely to be raped than they are to develop breast cancer.
Give us space. We've been raised to be scared and many of us have been harassed before.
More than anything, it's an invasion of our privacy, our personal space, and our security.

And remember, men can be raped too.
Men can be made to feel like objects, and you deserve the right to stand up for yourself if someone makes you uncomfortable. Society just kind of shows people sometimes that hot people are there for their entertainment. That includes men and women.

LATER ON

'If i'm not attracted to you, tough **** .'

actually my friend was once raped by a woman. so yes a woman can rape a man
#489 - yourmomisyourdad (07/18/2013) [-]
TL;DR but i need to say something: Ok ok ok, the woman was stupid and not all her argument was right BUT the guy was stupid too, there is no woman asking for a rape and they should dress as they want, it's also the guy's role to be educated to not rape a girl just because she's dressed sexy as **** .

I wish I could say this is a troll..... but people like that are out there. ******* femnazis who think every man is a rapist pig and that they're better than guys when they are just as guilty as any man who makes similar judgements towards women. God damn it. God ******* damn it, this is why I hate people.

my sister is a feminist, which I hate as does my dad, we constantly call her a feminazi and she trips right out. It's pretty funny, although shes not as much of an extreme ******** as the bitch in this, she understands the drunk sluts can't yell rape so that's something at least

1) There is no such thing as a 'slut.' If you want to believe sex makes you dirty, join the horde of people who hate themselves for it. I'm an 18 year old virgin dude, just so yall know. Regardless of whether or not a girl chooses to choke on thirty dicks in a week, I will respect her on the basis of whether or not she can hold a conversation intellectually, not on the basis of how many penises she has had that haven't been mine.

2) There is no such thing as American Rape Culture. The worst we have is slut-shaming, which, if you ask me, is the back-bone of where this idea of Rape Culture comes from. Here, this is a philosophy professor from Clarke University, and a woman at that, who obliterated the assertion of American Rape Culture back in 1994. Of course, neo-feminists don't read both angles: You need to login to view this link

3) While women can choose how to dress themselves, telling them that looking attractive is "asking for rape" makes about as much sense as telling a friend that they shouldn't ever disagree with you, or you might just stab and murder them. Real, forcible rape has little to nothing to do with wearing makeup or not.

i had this EXACT conversation with my ex. she is a feminist who will not listen to reason. she actually tried to press rape charges on a guy for having drunk sex. i said something along the lines of "maybe you didnt make the best choices that night." she raged to say the least, claiming objectification and sexism is society. the whole having sex while drunk argument is ****** . theres a word for having sex with someone you dont want to while drunk and its called "irresponsibility." guys do it too, and you know what we do? we say " **** , why did i do that," hope she didnt get our phone #, and move on with our lives.
