Real talk though, when a tragedy happens in America do people genuinely start freaking out and crying and ****?

Some do. It all depends on the person, their emotional strength, and whether or not they know someone who was a victim.

I know we can joke about it, but can we take just a second and remember those innocent people who were lost. I mean these were people from all around the world with families, friends, lives. We can go back to laughing, but just take a second is all I'm asking.

You caught me. Her literal words were something along the lines of "Guys, this isn't funny. This is serious."

I remember my grandad was supposed to be in the WTC an hour before it happened.
Luckily, he missed his train...

In the USA it stayed live in order to keep the kids from freaking out too much. All the kids channels (nickolodean, Cartoon Network, etc etc) stayed on, Adult stuff (Food Network, HGTV, etc etc) went off air, though.

The US still dubbed DBZ. I doubt he watched the subs or non-english dub versions.

I was in fifth grade when 9/11 happened, and I actually blamed it on the Russians at first. I was bullied by Russian kids in elementary school and sorta hated them all as a result (something I fortunately got over).

Sounds like something I'd expect from a person who was ate up with the cold war.
