And then you begin to wonder: why do these people earn so much?

Because they work hard and people pay to see it. Cussing shouldn't mean someone doesn't make good pay.

Doctors work hard. Why should people playing sports earn more than them?

That argument is extremely flawed. Millions of people are not paying to be attended to by the doctor, millions are paying to be entertained by the soccer player.

Ah, I see. Millions of people have never gone to the hospital in their entire life. Millions of people have never been ill and needed medical aid. Got it.

Billions of people go see millions of different doctors at hundreds of thousands of different hospitals in several hundred countries, paying them each separately.

This is opposed to hundreds of millions of people watching one single organization which needs to pay a paltry forty or so teams.

What happened to football being fun? Why do they need to earn money for kicking a ball around for a couple of hours?

A secret of life for you. If you are really, really good at something, never do it for free.

Seriously, though, do you honestly think they don't deserve monetary compensation for dedicating their lives to the sport? Spending forty, fifty, sixty hours a week to hard training, drills, and what not? Putting their bodies on the line for the entertainment of hundreds of millions of people?

As opposed to putting that kind of dedication and training to something that's actively useful to the efforts of the human race? No! How about they put their bodies on the line in something that can help build ****? Forward scientific discoveries? Save people's lives? **** that ****.

The origins of that word come from the English upper class. You know the ones that Americans try to disassociate themselves from. So does most of England, which is why I never get why Americans use it seeing as your entire culture is based on doing the opposite of us

22 men running around on the grass wearing revealing clothing, chasing balls. After 90 minutes of this, they all hug and congratulate eachother in a brotherly fashion, rubbing their sweaty bodies all over eachother

How is that not gay? I'm bi myself, and even I think soccer is a bit too gay

so by your logic, rugby is 30 men running around on grass wearing "revealing clothing", chasing balls. For 80 minutes they all just try to grab each other and lay down together?

Rugby must be gay too then right?

Based in reality? How is that not how it is? All of that happens! Short shorts are pretty revealing if you ask me... They do chase balls... The games are 90 minutes long... They hug and congratulate by jumping eachother and hugging...

I do not see your logic? I can understand that you like football, and that you don't want your heterosexuality to be broken down by us saying your sport is gay, but seriously, it is a pretty 'fabulous' sport.

Thanks for the red thumb btw

You must be watching footage from the 80's because the shorts aren't that revealing.
They don't chase a ball you uncultured bitchtit.
They hug and congratulate each other only when a major match has been won. And any physical contact between men is classed as gay in your eyes?
Break my heterosexuality down? I don't really give a ****, but my point is that a sport cant have a sexual preference. The diving and general weakness is more or less a European phenomenon that's why outside the premier league you hardly see it because not many European players join lower leagues. **** you
