I dont get it. Could someone explain it?

The newspaper says "Have you seen this man?" because he's wanted by the US government for spilling the beans on the whole NSA thing. The guy holding the newspaper is the same one on the newspaper - the guy everyone wants.

That guy who blew the cover on this whole thing... everyone is calling him a ******* patriot and **** . This guy is not a patriot, he's a terrible person. He's a ******* asshole and idiot. The government was just trying to keep us safe but this guy ruined it and now everyone is over reacting to what the government did. I'm sorry that i'm not paranoid and think the world is out to get me... ******* nutcases. Calm down and get over yourself, you're not that important that they'd waste their time spying on you. This was supposed to protect us from terrorists and other things. If you have nothing to hide then there's no issue. I hope this guy is caught and thrown in prison for being a god damn traitor.

If you're not worried about people knowing stuff about you why don't you sign in?

I asked my father what Snowden did; he said that he leaked top secret information that the government is spying, not on citizens, but on forigners within the country, which is perfectly legal.
#196 to #184 - swagbot (06/30/2013) [-]
You Dad knows that for a fact?

Nah. It's his ******* OPINION about verifiable facts. And he's ******* wrong.

Read and learn.

Did you forget that the FBI/CIA has not presented proof that a SINGLE terrorist plot has been stopped with their Dragnet surveillance yet?

Grow up man. Most of our parents are cowards who are unafraid to face the issues that are bearing down on our country. That's not the kind of person you should adopt your political news/views from.
#278 - happyfucktime (06/30/2013) [-]
I really love how people were calling anyone who believed the government was spying Americans "conspiracy theorists" and "nuts" but now their arguments are "what are you hiding?"
#264 - djchurro (06/30/2013) [-]

This man is ******* legendary. He does something morally responsible and right and then is almost hunted after by the government while foreign countries take him in and just look at the US like "really? You're upset over THIS?"
#81 to #51 - captainreposty (06/30/2013) [-]
If America tries Snowden for treason I'm pretty sure she'll lose all her "Allies" anyway.

The World thinks America is a land where your personal liberties are sold to the highest bidder, and that's not going to improve until you remove your Federal Reserve and remove the corporations from the government.

But the same can be said about us over here in England, I mean, the dirty Rothschilds own our own Bank of England for **** sake. But at least our world standing is better.

I've yet to learn sarcasm doesn't translate through the internet.

This prick didn't tell us anything we wouldn't have known if people actually paid attention to real politics instead of always listening to sensationalist garbage from 24 hour 'news' networks. What was going on at the NSA was approved by congress, and 100% legal. Nothing was hidden from anyone, it's all there in black and white.

So no, this ****** isn't a hero, he's a traitor. Who the **** is he to decide what's best for the entire country? Classified information is classified in the interest of national security, and by divulging any of it, he has hurt this country. I only hope he is assassinated before he can do any more damage.

I really don't see the problem, we know the government has been monitoring us for YEARS. Since before the inception of the internet it was suspected that they spied on us. Whatever, i remain a anonymous amongst three million other Americans. Sure what he did is morally responsible, but what he found we kinda already suspected to be true.

TLDR; we kinda suspected the government spied on us, whatever.
