By the end of the game he starts looking more like the original anyways, so **** people who didn't give this game a try because he doesn't look like the original Dante. Its called character development.

He doesn't experience any character development in the game, his har just changes. And it is not the way he looks (Frankly the only Dante I ever liked aesthetically was the one from 2) it's the way he acts.

Me too. The first 5 minutes made him out to be cooler than the original.

Plus people don't get that the new Dante ISN'T emo, he's an anarchistic punk.

while I'll agree that the "new" Dante is indeed childish and annoying,
there's no way in hell I'll badmouth DmC 5

gameplay, monsters, everything was sick as **** and for the first time ever actually made me want to get good enough to beat it on every difficulty
seriously puts the old style to shame i can't even bear to play the classics anymore
