I think the controversy is more about her trying to defend her brother, who allegedly, fiddled some girls winkums....

She is actually in trouble in regards to brother. Apparently he sexually harassed a young lady at Mrs. Deen's restaurant along with using racial slurs. She was in trouble more so for defending him. Her saying the N-word back in the day was more of an afterthought that was blown way out of proportion.

it wasn't just because she said ****** .
there are multiple cases that display her racism.

I don't get this whole controversy...

Apparently, she mentioned the word " ****** " in some unrelated, private conversation, and suddenly her life is pretty much ruined?

I mean...I really don't get that. Is " ****** " really such a taboo word in America? Well, I mean, for white people....

I don't hate Paula Deen for that

I hate her because she got diabetes from eating her own ****

Claims that it wasn't her **** food that gave it to her

and then turned around and made a profit by advertising diabetes medication

While she still decides to make and eat her **** food
