This post is about not being overbearing in a relationship. Respecting your significant other's personal time. They need "them" time as much as you need "you" time.

Like being on FJ and telling them you'll "come to bed soon."

Gotta respect the alone time as much as the together time. PEACE.

This isn't about getting a girlfriend, guys. This is about squeezing the life out of the ones you love. My grandmother once hugged me so tight I couldn't speak or breathe for 30 seconds. She got her satisfaction, but I thought I was going to die. Same thing happens all the time in personal relationships. You treat the ones you care about according to what satisfies your desire for them, disregarding how it might make them feel. By all means, acquire your desires, but don't scare them away in the process.

What if I pick that flower, enjoy my momentary possession and lust, then plant that flower in a pot an carry it with me for as long as it lives? I'll let it grow, and still love it, appreciate it, and all the while, have it near.

Who is to say love isn't about possessing each other?

He said a lot of good thongs, too bad people do not comprehend the magnitude of his wisdom, both in his words and by his actions.

I want that flower. I can't live without it. I pick because I want to be able to say that it's mine, and no one else can have it. For a while I'll spend time with this flower. I'll admire it's beauty, and everything lovely about it. I'll set it aside and be content with its presence. I'll watch the flower start to droop, and eventually wither to a dried out ghost of its former self. Even though my flower is wasting away, I have appreciated it more than I could if I had left it be. I like to be selfish. I'd must rather watch my flower die than leave it for someone else to enjoy. I wanted that flower. I couldn't live without it.

dude giving somebody flowers is pretty metal. i mean you take something pretty cut off its head. give it to somebody to put in a vase so they can watch it slowly wither and die.

Unless you use a flower presser, then it lasts quite a long time.

A bit like embalming.
