Guy's you're my last hope. I know this is completely of topic but my lack of offerings to google has turned him against me. Whatever I try, in every language I know, I can't find anything on when factories started to move away from USA/Brittan/Germany/Scandinavia or any other country (inb4 Brittan and Scandinavia isn't countries) So ... Uhm, do anyone know anything on this? It's for my final geography paper that should be handed in by tomorrow.

Factories move away because

A) Places like China, etc, offer cheaper labour/cheaper land.
B) They pay less tax overseas and still profit even if they have to pay shipping costs.

As to when, it depends. Business moved to China when they entered the World Trade Organisation in the 80's (meaning that outside business could build and hire there). That's the only date-relevant thing I can think of.

One thing I will say is this; if you left it until this late and are relying on Funnyjunk for help, then if you fail you've got no one to blame but yourself. I wish you the best of luck, but seriously..

Ye ye ... Nothing mayor anyway, I got my grade locked down allready anyway, it was just a thing for those who were between grades. Also, I did do my reaseach even after I posted that, and I googled a river in Norway which used to have a lot of factories and found out they started moveing in the 70s ...

isn't it possible that he overestimated how many bricks he needed and there were plenty of bricks left unused?

I heard the story differently, he miscalculated by a brick and said it was under a divine protection and keeping the pass standing.
