Holy **** . FunnyJunk seriously hates women.
#64 to #58 - aludin (05/13/2013) [-]
Not women, just Feminazi's.
User avatar #120 to #64 - popkornking (05/14/2013) [-]
Not all girls, just feminists, girls who like swagfags, girls who put them in the friendzone, girls who make bad arguments, girls who are bad at driving, and girls who do just about anything
User avatar #169 to #120 - RandomAnonGuy (05/14/2013) [-]
Laughing at =/= hatred of. We make jokes about ourselves on occasion too.
User avatar #76 to #58 - heartlessrobot (05/14/2013) [-]
No, just the radical feminists.
#59 to #58 - jakegiggs (05/13/2013) [-]
ya thats become abundantly clear recently
User avatar #60 to #59 - brockyboi (05/13/2013) [-]
I mean I've laughed at plenty of the stuff, but it just seems so one-sided and just kind of mean at this point. I mean, we all want to have a girl friend and have a good relationship, so why would we do this?
#62 to #60 - jakegiggs (05/13/2013) [-]
"Cuz women are stpuoid and should go back to the kitchen ad make us sandwiches!"
and then people started thinking this wasnt a joke, couple that with the bitter resentment of the more commonly socially introverted personality of your average internet male and he will start blaming others for the lack of female attention he receives.

P.S. wanna see red thumbs fly fast? defend a feminist viewpoint on the intenet.
User avatar #66 to #62 - brockyboi (05/13/2013) [-]
You're not defending a feminist though, you're just pointing out flawed logic. You're in the right here. I don't agree with feminists, but it seems as though FunnyJunk depicts almost every woman as a feminist, and for a lack of better words, it is just rude. Can't we push for some equality around here? Us men aren't exactly perfect ourselves.
#69 to #66 - jakegiggs (05/14/2013) [-]
Ya I think that The Fj community can do it, it just needs to change the way it thinks a little bit is all. I think its are smarter than this and more accepting.

This is a ******* site called Funnyjunk. Not Politically Active Junk.
User avatar #180 to #172 - brockyboi (05/14/2013) [-]
No, you are right in that sense certainly, but there still are plenty of female viewers on this site that I feel would be polarized by it after a while. I'm not saying to get rid of the jokes all together, but I just think we should let up a bit.
User avatar #182 to #180 - matthewfuckingmain (05/14/2013) [-]
It's a site that has many offensive jokes. About minorities, about religions, about women. It's comedy. Ignore the **** you don't like, laugh at the **** you do. Not that hard.
User avatar #186 to #182 - brockyboi (05/14/2013) [-]
I know, and I'm ok with that. I'm Jewish and I'm fine with all the jokes made about the Holocaust and whatnot, but I'm just saying that people get so worked up whenever a woman is mentioned. I'm not saying stop, I just want people to be a bit nicer to everyone. I understand that this is a site about jokes and it's never politically correct, I'm just saying that I feel that it is a bit much at this point, that's all.
User avatar #187 to #186 - matthewfuckingmain (05/14/2013) [-]
I see a joke about women a day, and I see a joke about religion a day. No cares about the religious feelings. They say it's a joke, deal with it. But suddenly a few women are acting like the jokes are too much. People are people. They won't let up on religious jokes, and they won't let up on jokes about women.

It should be legal to hit anyone that says "check your privilege" during an argument.
User avatar #247 to #233 - Katzie (05/14/2013) [-]
The **** does it even mean?
#283 to #247 - anonymous (05/14/2013) [-]
It just means being aware that you may have been born into certain circumstances that have allowed you opportunities which others haven't had access to.
On FJ, it's a phrase you paste to a badly drawn cartoon of a woman to get automatic thumbs from 15 year olds.
#255 to #247 - chaoticwaffle (05/14/2013) [-]
Means you better check your ******* privilege.

Because not everyone can be beautiful? I get the point they're making, and it's all good and funny, but god damn. They choose a hooter's waitress that looks like a ******* caveman?

Too bad sex bots will never trully be a viable option for the common man seeking a way out...

The complexity of making such a human like creation with mannerisms and movement, will probably cost quite a bit to develop and make with quality materials.

Do you really think that industry will let us get away with guaranteed sex? Think about the restaurant, hospitality, and flower industry alone...... think of how much they charge for the CHANCE of sex. No my friends they are going to rape your wallet before you stick your dick in your robo waifu.

What awaits us is not a future filled with glorious kawaii catgirls, but a mass produced chinese 1000$ conglomeration of plastic, polyurethane, and regulation. ^^

I'm sorry for the letdown, here have Bianca!

Aside from the straw feminists certain FJ users seem to love, I can't imagine women opposing this on "patriarchy" grounds. For one thing, we'd get to have sexy man-bots as well.
The difficulty would be that people would want to find a way to program the robots to love. Even if such a thing were possible, we could never do it without them inevitably falling in love with other sex bots.
And we'd be back where we started, only with a bunch of sexy, unattainable robots running around.
User avatar #439 to #435 - mynameisnotmike (05/14/2013) [-]
Be honest with yourself and consider that female bots will be paid much more attention to than the making of male bots.

Think:

A custom built top of the line PC compared to a wii.
#443 to #439 - brotherrosario (05/14/2013) [-]
That's perfectly true, there would be more female models, but the manufacturer couldn't ignore women and gay men without losing a good demographic. Even if there's only one male model to five female ones, that's just evidence of market pressures, not sexism.
As to the custom-pc-v-wii argument, that's true, but think about the range in computer usage, from ******** gamers to people who just want internet access and word processing. Same with sex bots: you'd have people who understood and modded their machines extensively, while others would be perfectly happy with off-the-shelf features.

If it seems like I've put a lot of thought into this, it's because I'm writing a short story about a man and his robot "wife."

User avatar #72 - ishallsmiteyou (05/14/2013) [-]
FUUUUUCK this pisses me off. EVERY ******* TIME a dude does something a feminist doesn't enjoy, they scream "RAPE". Yeah, cracking a joke about a ****** , a donkey and a purple hat (get the reference?) and this "woman" declares it rape. **** .
#207 to #72 - anonymous (05/14/2013) [-]
Where the **** are these "feminists"? I seem to find them only existing within male comments about feminism.
#265 to #207 - anonymous (05/14/2013) [-]
they don't really exist. edgy teenagers overexaggerate general ideologies of feminism, and then add in the beliefs of extremists that do not hold orthodox views to create the so-called "woman:" a fake and generalized construct that exists on the internet as "proof" that women are awful.
