Hipsters, duckfaces, and 13 year old faggots will be gone from social websites by 2015.

Let's hope this isn't a false prediction.

all these quotes about cinema and the internet only being a fad makes me think about 3d tech, many people say it's useless and dumb and won't have a future, who knows, maybe this will be the next big thing

Well 3D has failed twice before. They tried it in the 50's and it failed, and they tried it in the 80's and it failed again.

And to be honest, nowadays hardly anyone gives a **** about it any more. Chances are it'll fail again.

I semi-agree with you. Some 3D just seems like a novelty, but I've seen a nature show in 3D, and I felt it actually gave it a better feel than regular 2D.
User avatar #91 to #47 - bknob ONLINE (05/09/2013) [-]
truth be told I think 3D will become big in its own unique way, but it wont replace 2D, similarly how TV became huge but didn't replace radio.

Unless of course 3D gets to such a point where its just way easier to make something 3D (without it actually being an issue for the majority of the public) then it might replace it.

the advancements into light polarization are still fairly new and not yet full understood in terms of applying it to modern technologies. so it may be a very big possibility.

I think they're all right, because in 2,000-10,000 or so years we are going to grow so much as humans that we probably destroy this tiny planet with pollution, war, genocide, or something else radical and crazy.... , and either have to go to a new planet, or cease to exist.

Charles Darwin also said to that his theory would be wrong, and should be discounted if people don't find fossils for the transitional phase in evolution, after the tools, that have the capacity to do so, are invented. Yet, people still subscribe to it because ignorance is bliss, and the idea of discrediting a God is too appealing for immoral men. You can red thumb/ban me, but you can never abolish facts.
#109 to #84 - Capnhowdy (05/09/2013) [-]
While that statement is essentially correct, its the exact reason people subscribe to it. We DID find those fossils and many other forms of evidence Darwin never imagined such as DNA, mitochondrial or otherwise, radio dating, and epigenetics.
#90 to #88 - anon (05/09/2013) [-]
+++twomd here+++ religion is a set of beliefs. It's faith on the unseen. Most people have faith to some degree. Some have faith in a God, some, in chance. Some believe that everything just kinda happened. Or that we will all reach nirvana. But having faith in a god, or lack thereof, is religion. Unless you are postmodern, and agnostic, this post is self contradictory. The analogy in itself was weak, as it can be applied to most debatable topics, and it is also told from the view of an omnipotent being. It's as if whoever wrote this knew the context of the universe (that is no one).

User avatar #107 to #94 - agentpurplek (05/09/2013) [-]
It's not the largest genocide in history but it is a large genocide of 2 million people and then nothing but inbreeding between a family. It takes at least 15 men and 15 women to keep the gene pool diverse enough to make us not all deformed. Some how this one guy got only two of each animal, again, not enough for breading.
#413 to #107 - anon (05/14/2013) [-]
not only did both of those pictures not address the points and arguments that i made, but you can breed with two animals, and id imagine arc would be rather crowded with fifteen animals of every species. any more random irrelevant biased pictures?
User avatar #414 to #413 - agentpurplek (05/14/2013) [-]
aha You can breed with two animals once and then what? Know you have a baby that can't bread with its parents because the gene pool is not diverse enough. Next to that how did a boat smaller than the titanic house all these animals.

This story is a myth just like the bible
