In the first one, I thought the prosthetic thing was a sting ray or some **** and it was just vomiting a dolphin.

Why would it be unnecessary? \the animals probably wouldn't of lived without them.

I mean that maybe money should be spent on humans in need before animals in need. After all, if humans didn't exist, there would be no one to help these animals, but then again, that sort of contradicts itself a bit.

Well when you look at it the animals don't exactly require lots of cash for their prosthetic limbs. Humans are also a lot more capable if they loss a limb than an animal as we have wheelchairs and compensation if it were an accident. A dolphin wouldn't be able to swim without its tail. I just find humans and animals as equals so I would think they need equal treatment.

I guess animals need help more, but the weak ones are meant to die so through natural selection, stronger species can evolve.

I guess if they are injured in the wild but if it was injured by something man made I feel it is our responsibility to get it back to good health. And of course you should help it if it's your pet.

calf meat gives a good payout aswell, and you dont buy calfs to make em breed, you buy cows to get in new blood t get good grades on the cows

or WHAT IF, they wanted to wait... to get MORE meat from it and decided that the cost of prosthetic feet would be covered by the actually output of the meat later on.

you know veal is just baby cow or calf meat so they could have just offed it right there

Veal meat isn't considered good unless the calves muscles are atrophied and the calf is anemic, this us what gives veal is succulent flavor. With this calf being able to stand it wouldn't be good for veal production.

some people do keep cows for nonbeef productions. Perhaps this is bull that will be kept for breeding or its a calf that was rescued from a farm where he otherwise would have been killed.
