I would be able to take him more seriously if he didn't dome that old lady on the park bench, then proceed to shoot up an entire hospital on the drive over.

There's actually a disclaimer before that mission saying that if you don't want to do it, you can skip it completely.

in the german version of the game you loose the game as soon as you shoot a single civilian in this level and there is even an option to skip this level completely because it could be offending to people - ****** ****** up!

I like the campaigns. I've liked every one. Everything else is not worth playing though IMO.

I haven't bought a call of duty since World at War though. Not worth the buy. Just the rent.

I disagree, but even if you think its great, having nostalgia over a game that just came out three years ago and has had three extremely similar sequels since then is pretty stupid.
User avatar #353 to #349 - ShadNineteen (05/06/2013) [-]
MW2 was the last good CoD, which gives reason to have nostalgia.
It was before the series was fleshed out and ****** .

The series has gone down the ******* since.

I think the the first Black Ops wasn't that bad. Modern Warfare 3 sucked but I played the campaign just to wrap up the series. But ******* Black Ops 2 was just horrible. That game is pure **** . Campaign, multiplayer, and I thought even the zombies was horrible.
User avatar #410 to #381 - kito (05/06/2013) [-]
I would like to politely disagree with you. I feel as if Modern Warfare 3 didn't live up to its expectation and that killed it from day one. Black Ops, as well, wasn't as good as Modern Warfare 2. It had a solid campaign and zombies of course, but multiplayer was incredibly lacking while bringing new things to the game. Black Ops 2, however, is my favourite COD because I actually wanted to play the campaign a 2nd time and multiplayer was fairly similar to Modern Warfare 2, while still being different. Tranzit, was a sad zombies map and made a bad start to the Black Ops 2 maps. It has, however, been saved by the other maps.
User avatar #489 to #410 - killermoosed (05/07/2013) [-]
Thank you for at least pointing things out to me lol. I really didn't like how the campaign was in Black Ops 2. It shouldn't of brought up Woods from the dead and I think that the original Black Ops wrapped it up just nice to me. The thing that i really like about the original Black Ops multiplayer is how you got your weapons and i thought that the maps were pretty good (Nuketown is probably the best multiplayer map of all time, my opinion) I think though the best Call of Duty is a toss up between Call of Duty 3 and World at War. I think after Ghost they should do a Call of Duty were its like the first Bush DJ 4DM1Nistation and you have to go into Panama and do Operation Desert Storm.
User avatar #329 - rollertoaster (05/06/2013) [-]
The rest of this game and all of MW3 could have been prevented if Joseph Allen had just capped Makarov in the back of the head, then the other terrorists before they could react.

My first time ever playing this, I got the Disturbing Content notification and wondered, "What could be in this game to warrant this notice?"

I was halfway through No Russian, walking over the bodies by the gate, before I realized this was the level warranting the notice. I wasn't even fazed until that point.

But, logically, if we were in the same situation in real life, we would be forced to shoot because the others will figure out that the person not shooting is probably a spy.

Oh, so you think the "cool people" run this world? Step aside, faggot. Let me teach you something.

You know who makes the video games?

You know who makes all the good TV shows?

You know who makes all those blockbuster movies?

You know who makes the good music?

You know who made the computer that sits in front of your face?

So, log in and stop acting like such a pussy.

Most TV shows are made by nerds, as are almost ALL of the blockbuster hits.
Computers...you don't have to be a genius to figure that one out..

Technically, no. But it's common to find nerds (or at least old white guys) running the music industry.

Most TV shows and movies are indeed made by nerds. The successful ones, anyway.
Main case in point: the tidal wave of superhero movies as of recent years.

The computer programming, not the build.
Although Chinese people could count as nerds.

Actually, I don't need to make myself feel better about doing what I enjoy because I...well...enjoy it.

I play Magic: The Gathering, watch Doctor Who, have played more video games than a neckbeard on a Mt.Dew high, read sci-fi books often, and have only had one girlfriend. (She was a psychopath. It was horrible.)

Go ahead. Mock me.
