My baby brother used to experience some weird form of sleepwalking when he was 6-8 years old, he was near impossible to wake up and when he finally did he remembered nothing of the stuff he did and said.
One night at about 3 am i woke up because i heard screaming from his bedroom, I was creeped out and didn't wanna go check it out - my parents quickly went in and tried to soothe him, and they suceeded after a while. So i poked my head in to see what was up, and I remember him staring at my with wide horrified eyes, yelling "what is that? WHAT IS THAT? HELP!" he just went full retard, and even though it was so many years ago i still remember it oh so clearly..
Another time when he was put to bed, he would slowly come down the stairs all solemn with his arms folded like he was craddling a baby. He would then proceed to just stand there for a while, then put the "baby" down and the floor and then just cry his eyes out for like 10 minutes, completely unstoppable..
He's turned out to be a relatively sane kid though, but those nightly episodes still haunt me sometimes, and he remembers absolutely nothing of it.

Figured I could share some of my own scary experiences.

When I was around 6-8, I slept in a sort of bunk bed (but just one bed, so there was empty space underneath for having your desk there etc.)
The bed was located alongside a wall, with the ladder leading up to the bed itself being right next to the door to my room.
I kept having nightmares/thinking about a skeleton man with torn clothes and a single eye climbing up this ladder and staring right at me.
I was 100% sure that this really happened each night so I always lay under the cover, with my eyes wide open, facing the wall.
This led to me sleeping very little each night and I always woke up sweating like a pig.
You probably don't find this scary in the slightest, but I at that time was terrified, every night for maybe 2-3 years.

Next story in a reply to this one.

Seriously? You guys get to go to friggin haunted castles in 4th grade field trips? That's stupid. You know where I went for 4th grade field trips? Down the street to a goddamn Albertsons(Kind of crappy grocery store for non-amerifags).

> Think to myself its probably just the cat
> Sit up and look at the end of bed anyway
> Almost get a heart attack when i see a shadowy/smoky black figure at end of bed
> Cant scream. HELP.jpg
> Then i just wake up as if it was a dream
> Calm myself down by telling myself it was just a dream
> Start to fall asleep again
> Just as i close my ****** eyes i hear an ekstremely loud bass like scream just beside my head
> Sit in the corner of the room with tears in my eyes for the rest of that night.

I work in this restaurant that used to be an old train station, the kitchen and pub pub dinning room are on the the first floor and there is a fancy dinning area up stairs with about 4 separate rooms for parties and such. After service one night me and a few servers were hanging out in the upstairs at a table at the bar having a few drinks when we heard footsteps coming from the other room. The four of us were the only ones in the building and everything had been locked up. The manager made a joke about there being a ghost and just after that two paintings fell off the wall and a bottle of grey goose flew off the shelf. Haven't been upstairs at night since.

All these stories have me remembering some of the creepy **** I used to experience.

I remember when I was younger, my little sister had the bedroom next to mine, but with how the doors were set up, I could look out into the hallway right in front of her door. (My door faced the banister that divided the hall from the stairs, while my sister's faced the length of the hall, facing the bathroom at the end. My parents' bedroom was beside the bathroom.

One night I saw a black figure walk past my door, pause, and then walk into my sister's room. It scared me at first, but I figured, since it looked like a man, it was my father. But I never saw him leave. And I kept watching, waiting for him to leave with growing unease. I can't recall what caused me to go get my sister, but I was scared ******** so I went into her room, took her out and brought her to bed with me. (She must have been between 2-4 at the time) Never did know what the figure was, but wasn't the last time I saw it.

Not my kid, but my cousin, who I was in charge of babysitting for a night-
"Good night, Christopher"
"Oh, I'm not scared"
"Not scared of what?"
"The Metal Men"
"Metal Men...?"
"Yes, the Metal Men that come out of the walls. Good night, Elliott!"
I did not get any sleep that night.
Little kid ******* scared me, he was like 30 months old.

When I was six my room had no curtains and huge windows that went down almost to the floor. I had a giant military Australian flag over the window as a curtain. The flag was thin and almost see through. One night I woke up to dull red eyes at the window, looking through the curtain. I must have stared for a while they blinked, then went away. I have no idea why I didn't scream...

One night I was txting my recent ex and after a while I just fell asleep on the couch in my apartment. I woke up around 4am and just went into my room without thinking about my phone. I got up around 11am the next day and checked my phone that was still on the couch. There were 4 missed calls and many txts from my ex. All the txts where about how she was freaking out and I was just thinking whats this bitch's problem. I scrolled up through the txts and apparently I had sent "watching uuuuuuuuuu" at 5:14.
Nope nope nope. Never slept there again and moved out a month later

About the ages 2-7 i would sleep walk. A pretty normal thing except my sleep walking consisted of me going to the mirror in the hall way and laughing evilly until my dad was forced by my mom to come out and take me back to bed. this would happen nightly. I also remember my toys would move around like they would be in one place but then when i came back one would be out in the hall near the mirror. My bed would also shake and i would hear whispers a lot too. Up until we moved out of that house i slept walked about once a month my last one was when i was14 my friend spent the night. i sat in the dark for 2 hours and my family couldnt get me upstairs. My friend said i kept mumbling something about mommy and daddy. ******* creepy as **** . i believe it was a child ghost completely harmless. Sometimes if i listen closely enough i can still hear the whispers at night.
