This happens every single time my favorite webcomic artist says something so liberal that I swear he ***** out little feminists and mini-Obamas.

I'm an objective realist.

Both extremes of the liberal/conservative scale make me want to light things on fire.

Ive never heard of that before, but it sounds like something that i might be care to elaborate?

The liberal and conservative political labels are ridiculous. People bend their own viewpoints and morals (not that this matters, morality is inherently false), in order to align with a spot on the political spectrum. The most tolerable region of political ideals, in my opinion, is libertarian. They, at least, try to keep their noses out of people's business and are less hindering to a free market.

I base my political views on a scientific and objective observation of the world, not on emotions or petty, ridiculous ideals.

Libertarians all right, until the psychotic ones start insisting that the government is out to get us and find the "fascism" in anything and everything.

This happened to me when some kid in my English class was doing his speech on why 9/11 was a conspiracy, my dad is a fireman and lost a lot of friends that day, so obviously it pissed me off, but i couldn't just go off on him in the middle of class so i sat there and ground my teeth together and tried not to freak the **** out.

Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

The fact that he's an ignorant fool makes you right...

Saying you don't like a certain game it's an opinion.

Saying that certain game is a bad game, it's not an opinion, it's a statement

This is how I feel about Christianity; sure they've been raised on the bible and have faith in their god, but...science, y'know? When they disregard proven theories, things proven by Christian scientists, just saying "read the bible" instead...

And I shouldn't hate them for this, but I do.
Also Vegetarians. And people who aren't against gay rights, but homosexuality doesn't sit well with them.

Things that shouldn't bother me, and do, and I hate myself for it.
User avatar #105 to #67 - SgtObvious (04/22/2013) [-]
Like 99% of Christians believe in both Christian teachings and modern science so idk why everyone cares so much
#252 to #105 - teranin ONLINE (04/22/2013) [-]
I'm going to have to stop you right there. 40% of americans do not believe evolution occured. 40% of americans is around 130 million people. Not including anyone else from any other countries that are christian and don't accept evolution (of whom there are a great many) that number alone is around 2% of the total population of the earth.
User avatar #263 to #252 - SgtObvious (04/22/2013) [-]
I've literally never met a single Christian who didn't believe in science

I don't mind gay rights, but god forbid I feel uncomfortable when I'm around gay dudes.
User avatar #80 to #67 - namnori (04/21/2013) [-]
I wouldn't say I'm against gays. Just the thought of two guys having sex makes me want to throw up.
User avatar #298 to #80 - Loppytaffy (04/22/2013) [-]
And this shouldn't bother me; you have that opinion, and it's not hurting anyone. I wouldn't want ot imagine two old people having sex, either.

I just...I don't understand how any form of romance can be seen as different to another based on sexuality
User avatar #76 to #67 - mavericjones (04/21/2013) [-]
What's your beef with people who " people who aren't against gay rights, but homosexuality doesn't sit well with them?" I don't agree with homosexuality (actually I don't have a problem with it myself, but I am a Christian and I know that God is against it) but I'm not about to let that influence my belief that gays should have the right to marry. I wouldn't want someone else's religious beliefs to be passed into law, similarly I think it would be wrong to try and support something that would pass mine.
User avatar #297 to #76 - Loppytaffy (04/22/2013) [-]
What if the gays aren't Christian? It doesn't matter how God feels then. Because, if you don't believe in the faith, you cannot go to Heaven, but by that logic, nor should you be able to go to hell. Which is alrighty by me, because frankly the idea of living for eternity, in the cloudland or otherwise, terrifies me.
