Fun Fact: The actress who voiced Avatar Kyoshi also voiced the female commander Shepard in Mass Effect

Sorry, but Chaotic Evil implies either insanity or stupidity.

Well, Azula did suggest to burn down the entire Earth Kingdom AND she did go crazy towards the end of the third season so... Yeah.

>Hama
>Neutral Evil

Sure she is no Azula but Hama is anything but sane. Watching her entire tribe get exterminated by the Fire Nation then locked in a cage like a Wild Animal to perfect an art nobody knew existed to teach Katara the most powerful Water Bender in Existence.

DBZ has a better story, better characters, and better character development than Avatar: The Last Airbender.

chaotic evil and neutral evil should switch
chaotic is more of going against rules or codes of honor

Ehh... I'm not so sure Jet is Chaotic Good. If so, he stretches the "good" part a bit. Maybe Chaotic Neutral would be better.

I mean, he might very well have thought of himself as such, and in theory he certainly had some noble intentions. But you have to consider his actions, and the motivations behind them. Personally, I kinda think the root of his hatred of the Fire Nation, while perfectly understandable, was primarily caused more by a desire for revenge than more "noble" ambitions. Obvisiously "good" characters can get angry, or experience hate, but they usually don't let it rule them. Jet kinda let his grudge against the FN dictate a lot of his actions. He was obsessed with his vendetta against the FN, and was bigoted and spiteful toward the entire culture and its people, not just the soldiers. He also found it acceptable, necessary even, to sacrifice innocents in his fight against the Fire Nation.
That kinda deviates away from "Good" on the Good vs. Evil axis. He's still far from outright "evil" though.

But it's hard to classify certain characters into one specific group, especially shows that feature a lot of character development.
For instance, Lawful Evil is probably fitting of Azula earlier in the series. But indeed, as her sanity starts to slip, I'd agree that she does slid into Chaotic Evil by the end of the series.

Chaotic good believe in the greater good and do not mind the means in which they achieve these goals.

chaotic good should be not Jet seeing as how his entire character was based around harming innocent people in order to get revenge and harming innocents isn't chaotic and revenge isn't good in any sense.
Rather it would make sense if Chaotic good was Aang since he was a 'flawed avatar' due to the fact that he wasn't willing to follow the rules of the avatar (Give up on love, kill another being, remain neutral with the world as a whole) and lawful good was actually Zuko since he was bound in honor and he was willing to sacrifice everything to do what he saw as good at the time. kind of a long shot for these two but I can't think of anyone else who really fits other than that it's perfect

Jet was neutral evil if anything he didn't use questionable means to do good things he used evil means to do evil things for selfish reasons I.E. lieing, cheating, and playing dirty in order to kill innocent people in order to get personal revenge

for starters what Aang was doing isn't the definition of good and he did go against what Aang was doing in that aang's goal wasn't destruction of the fire nation and it's people but unity and harmony of the world, not to mention he kind of attacked them multiple times.

its an alignment chart. In some games, you have alignment based on your actions. These alignments effect how you interact in the game or sometimes give you certain bonuses.(lawful good may get a certain perk, whereas chaotic evil may have more freedoms).

When people make them based off a show, they pick characters who most exemplify the traits of each alignment.

This is a pretty good site: http://easydamus.com/alignment.html

Heh, honestly, I kinda feel like a portion of the charts on the 'net that try to assign alignments to various characters are made by people that don't fully understand them (not saying this post's chart is necessarily bad though).
