So the $500,000,000 that was spent to put Boston under a form of martial law didn't have much efficiency, I see? The officer is obviously a nice person to give the family milk, but putting Boston on "lockdown;" the Feds showing their maximum force, as if there were a rebellion, for one guy, is a bit excessive.

I'd be concerned if what happened in the ultra-libturd city of Boston becomes conventional amongst Police. But, of course, to the libturds on FJ, they would love having their door broken down over the "probable clause" some Jew lawyer said would apply to a minor situation, via the 4th amendment.

The only reason for this that I could think of was that.. they didn't know what this kid could possibly do.. or if perhaps others may be involved. There was just too much unknown, so they expected the worst and went at it with as much force as possible.

Excessive in hindsight, but at the time.. they kind of had their reasons.

After Katrina we were held up in our house, our area wasn't badly damaged and was not flooded. The military went around through the neighborhood and confiscated all the weapons. They confiscated our weapons and held us at gun point as if we were criminals.

All the guns were legal. And we never got ANY of them back. My dad lost his rifle that was passed down from his great grandfather. It was a civil war relic, the very weapon he carried on his back during that war.

tl;dr, it wasn't right. They had no business doing that to us or to anyone.

to be fair...it was new orleans...i mean i remember hearing about people raping, killing and looting each other during the entire ordeal...seems kind of logical.

most people would think; what a kind man bringing them milk..
I'm thinking, there's just been explosions in your city and everything is on lockdown and you have nothing better to do than to degrade yourself as a police officer by getting milk for some brats who wanna have their fruit loops.
its not even like milk is necessary for survival.. like if he brought them blankets during a powerout during the middle of winter, that would be understandable.. but i think those people would have survived for a day without milk

the polices job is to protect & serve the people of there country even if that means that they have to get some milk.

I love how you guys are defending the police even though the CISPA bill is right around the corner.
#319 to #292 - mrmamric (04/21/2013) [-]
CISPA isn't part of the polic eforce, dumbass. That's like saying we should be mad at Antarctica because of 9/11.

Was glad to be locked in. Not a fascist police state, it was a manhunt for a dangerous Chechen on the run in Watertown; they didn't want people on the street in case he either hurt them or they impeded police. Honestly couldn't be prouder to live in Boston right now. ****** awesome city.

Just one cop
Doesn't mean they're all like this.
User avatar #526 to #504 - gmarrox (04/22/2013) [-]
So you're saying that when one cop brutalizes someone and gets media attention, they are also not like that?

wait, you mean they actualy put the city in lockdown?
like, being outside was illegal?
**** .
#105 to #96 - bentense (04/21/2013) [-]
Maybe not illegal, but considering a bomber was most likely somewhere in the neighborhood they didn't want to endanger lives.
