This is an equal opportunity country; both parties are equally responsible for a drunken *******.

Maybe it is both of their responsibilities? Yes, a chick shouldn't blame the dude if she got drunk willingly and she definitely holds part of the blame. But also, a man shouldn't take advantage of a drunk girl. Consent is agreeing to do something with someone, but if someone is drunk, then their mind isn't thinking logically, so it isn't their full consent. Now if both people get drunk, then again they are both responsible for getting drunk in the first place.

Pretty sure this is the reason why all ads for beer 'n **** say 'drink responsibly'.
We have a good thing going and someone's always gotta ruin it.

I agree with the statement but not the logic. When she turns on a car, the car turns on. There's no other option. When she turns on a man, he can think about the consequences of it. I'm not saying this to condone a girl's logic; any girl who does that deserves to be stoned on the cross, there could just be a better example is all I'm saying

why is it his responsibility to look out for her or think of how it affects her?
It would be her own fault for getting ********* in a place where no one is there to babysit her stupid ass.If you get drunk and get ****** its no ones fault but your own.

So, by your logic, if a girl goes to a trusted friends house, passes out in a bed where she believes she is safe, and some guy finds her and has sex with her, she was not raped? No one was in the room "babysitting her stupid ass," so it's all her responsibility?

If a girl (or guy) is unable to say "yes," it's rape.

if a man and a woman both get drunk, only one gets to shout rape.

the word you are looking for is Willingly
a drunk person can still say yes or no to sex
as long as they are not black out sleeping somewhere a girl who wants to ride a dick will ride just about any dick they can find. the only reason they say "rape" or some **** is because its a friend of theirs, a guy who they dont really know or maybe :o he was just ugly. girls are stupid mostly the ones who know they ****** up but still blame other people.

Nicely put. In any case, if a person can't consent while drunk, best not to go there at all - however, if both members involved are drunk, I agree, no blame should be exerted

yea that is true, that s mostly the only reason i wouldnt drink if the person im with is staying sober. although we may be friends i know something feels a bit off when they try to offer me shots or something and im alone with them.

The guy is a sleazebag, not a rapist. There's a difference. When you're *********, you just tend to act upon your subconscious and do things that you secretly wanted to do without those morals getting in the way. If it's not forced or against her will, it's not rape; as simple as that. As a drunk, I've been banned from a town, I've madeout with munters and even one old woman (don't ask), I'd gotten myself into silly accidents where I'd broken my teeth but those were all my mistakes to live with. Problem with this god damn women is that they love to abuse the notion of feminism and falsely implement it as their sanctuary of innocence.

Yes.

I understand a lot of women do can very easily be overpowered. However, to get yourself drunk in the first place, when you know you can be taken advantage of (let's say, you're not with friends you can trust not to let that happen to you), is stupid. But if you're genuinely forced into sex because you're too drunk to even try to get out of it, then both parties are at fault.

If you have two WKDs and go home with a cute guy you saw wink at you from across the bar, knowing what it's leading to, then it's not rape, it's consenual sex.

And before y'all get butthurt, as a woman, I have been in that situation, and I know I was both drunk, and knew exactly what I was doing.
