Actually Yen is the currency used in pokemon games. 1 Yen is equal to 1/100 of an American dollar (on average). Pokeballs cost $2, and ultraballs (the most expensive basic ball) costs $12.

You could make a camera sounds like the most advanced ******* thing to somebody in the 1800s

A box with a single button that can capture a painting more detailed then any known piece of art in the world
$25

Glasses with a logo
$300

Why does everyone call it pokedollars? The symbol is a P with two horizontal lines through it (like the yen), it's a game from japan and the denomination of money is worth MUCH closer to one yen than an american dollar. I always called it pokeyen when I was a kid.

Supply and demand. Pokeballs are everywhere. Everyone has them. Hardly anyone has bikes.
