While I can say with certainty that I don't like Obama at all, from a presidential standpoint, I do have to agree that he is a pretty cool guy.
User avatar #280 to #276 - ragingflamingos (04/05/2013) [-]
Agreed. It's like having a friend who you violently disagree with. I don't like his politics but he seems like he could be cool to have a beer with.
User avatar #305 to #276 - marioteam (04/05/2013) [-]
Same. He really doesn't have what it takes to be a good president, but he seems like a cool dude. He's a puppet, that's the problem.

Guys. I'm not going to put out my political views because I know full well none of you actually care, nor will I influence any of yours.

What I will say is that if you're spending more time poking holes in your "opposition" than working toward making things better, you're just a twat. Plain and simple.
#263 to #230 - firesnake (04/05/2013) [-]
90% of english politics is people insulting each other's plans/personal life/mother, 10% is them taking the time to squeeze as much money out of everyone as possible and then saying that their way of money squeezing is better than it would be if the other party was squeezing money out of us.
#8 - anon (04/04/2013) [-]
he's such a "chill" president because he's only concerned with his public image, not actually doing anything to help the country, I know I'm a big pussy for posting anonymously, I've brought shame to my ancestors

Yes, let's blame the president for everything, **** it. We are all innocent little doves and have done nothing wrong at all.
User avatar #294 to #290 - kamehamehanurd (04/05/2013) [-]
Yes, but we have no other choice. If we were to stop taking things from the oil companies, and stop try ing to brainwash the public from the world's problems. Witht he correct elected officals, everything will be alright.
User avatar #300 to #294 - ronyx ONLINE (04/05/2013) [-]
Do we really have no other choice? I don't know man, Congress is the one that holds the last word and I bet you don't know half of the people in congress. Most americans have no idea of who is in congress and what they believe. But since everyone knows the president, we can all blame him for everything.
Protip - get to know your congressman and get more involved in congress elections when they roll around.

do you really think that voting does anything anymore? Its jst a good way to make you feel like you did something but its not going to do **** . The only thing to do is play the waiting game when everyone ( us, the people ) is aware that we need our country back.

Oh, then let's do nothing at all. I'm sure congressmen elect themselves and out of the hundredths of people working at congress they are all evil and only do what they want. They obviously don't give a **** about any of their districs. Jesus Christ man, stop watching movies.
#320 to #313 - AnotherPornStar (04/05/2013) [-]
Dude, think about how **** has been going the past few years. Your vote doesn't matter, the elections are rigged. The banks are what controls everything. The federal reserve is in charge of all paper cash and they don't get voted in or changed as time passes. Our government decided to create a completely new branch that isn't accountable to the people. If you wanna keep thinking that Congress isn't in on it, when they've already shown corruption by changing their own salaries, then have fun with that. You've got plenty of other people that think the way you do. You might think of me as some crazy conspiracy theorist, but that stigma only exists in America. If you go to Europe and show them evidence of the corruption of their government, then they're open-minded enough to consider it possible. Americans are indoctrinated from the start to believe in Congress and The House of Representatives and the President. All I'm saying is that people need to research more in what's happening with America's foreign relations, arm themselves to defend their family should something bad happen, and be prepared. Because something is going to happen in within the next decade or so, and it's not gonna be easy. The signs are there, you just have to look for them. www.youtube.com/user/StormCloudsGathering And this is all I'm gonna say on it becuase I think that its pathetic that this is such a sensitive ******* subject

Single-handedly, is he?
It's funny how most USA citizens think that presidents have this much power.
"ruining".
This crysis is nothing but a trend, part of a pattern that repeats itself.
We've had it already: the 90s, the 70s, the 20s, and so forth.
That's how economy goes, despite what most people think.
Please stop behaving as if these were the worst years to live in ever.

And for humanity as awhole, this is the worst time ever. The global warming crisis threatens everybody and anybody. And every living thing. Don't you think that even if it harms, 1 million, 2 millio, hell maybe even 500 million people somebody should do something. But it's effecting 7 billion people, and possible trillions of different lives. All the animals that have gone extinnt for what? Tv and AC. I love those things, that's why we NEED implement alternative fuel sources before it's to late. becuase it takes time to change EVERYTHIGN AMERICA RUNS ON. So we start now while we still have time instad of panicing and socioty collapsing becuase we run out of oil and nobody knows what to do, because out public education system.

SO MANY THINGS wron with the world. You can either ignore it, and kill off everybody. Or work together and make a difference.
User avatar #377 to #319 - kamehamehanurd (04/05/2013) [-]
we're not only affecting our economy, but we're dystroying others. And look at our youth! Where I live. 12 year olds are sucking dicks and begging for cum. LITTERALLY. The global oil crisis which America is pretty much responsible for. The problem isn't one single thing. It's everything. You can't change everything, so you need to change 1, and watch the dominos fall. Pretty much the price our our plastic exsistance is litterally killing us.
