and then she ripped off her clothes and spread her legs open, at this point you remembered that you really didn't have the balls to masturbate in class, and the porno you were watching had a very normal plot...

Science in the periodic table using the elements Scandium,Iodine,Etherium,Nitrogen and Cerium total atomic number= 264 now divide that by 42 you get 6.28571428571 ignore the 6 because the point divides them then ignore the 4's and the 2's then add the rest together 8+5+7+1+8+5+7+1=42

no. 264/42=6.(285714) repeating. pi does not repeat. ever.

no, because pi and 2*pi are both irrational, but every fraction is rational.
and also, the first few digits of 2*pi would be 6.283185306

A post a few days ago explained the meaning of life = 42 (Japanese 4 and 2 combined made the word that meant "death" or something like that); therefore, the meaning of life = death. This plays off that.

4=shi 2 =ni, shini-gami means god of death. So the 42 is interpreted as death.

depends on the alphabet that you are using :)

My alphabet has 37 letters to it...
The japanese have Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji....
Just saying.... worthless idea :)

the book that the punchline is based on was originally written in English. In the book, the babel fish translated all languages of alien species to the recipient's language, which was English.

In the context of any joke involving Douglas Adams and the meaning of life being 42, your Japanese alphabet doesn't matter.
