Before I start I'm British. This post is kind of wrongfully insulting and insinuating about the American people, the American people didn't vote to send this drone over and kill children, the American government allowed this to happen. Just because a country's government carries out an action it does not make the people responsible, this is the fault of whoever allowed this strike to go ahead.

TL;DR **** off

I agree with this completely. I am American and I do not wish for over half of what my government decides to do. There isn't much I can do about it without getting thrown in jail or killed.

People who've actually been there and realized how stupid their stereotyped/generalized view of the U.S was.

it's because it got more media coverage, and it got more media coverage because drone strikes look bad, but also because (not without reason) most people prioritize events in their own nation over other nations

Sad, but very true.

Every day almost HUNDREDS die in Syria...

...but that's not to say we should make ourselves miserable.

Wars go on, and people die, and we have to stand on the sides we think are right. To keep searching for the truth and know that all of human life is sacred, not just those of your country, or someone else's.

pic slightly related?

I hope that one day there will be no such thing as nations. I don't care ir a person share my birthland, no matter how far away he/she is, suffering is suffering.
The world lacks union.

It's hard to know these things when the front page of our media sources is about a celebrity's hair change or what Michele Obama wore to a dinner or something completely unimportant. Any good American would be outraged.

These are the names of every child killed by drone strikes in Pakistan. There's only one female, the rest are teenage boys. The average age in Pakistan is 20 years less than in the US. What we call children here are called soldiers there.

we care, our government stifles our media and does not allow reporting on the transgressions of our armed forces overseas. I really feel badly for what is happening overseas. I wish we could be more accurate in our actions. Mistakes are made all the time. And what's more disturbing, sometimes kids are blown up on orders, and its part of an acceptable civilian casualty allowance. I am not America, but I am an American. And I am sorry for my countries actions, especially for the children who died needlessly.
