My only problem with the whole idea of it being in World War II is that the new Assassin would be using guns, like sniper rifles and automatic weapons. Soon you would have people who would prefer to just use a sniper rifle over the hidden blade. And what kind of weapon would the new Assassin use for close combat? I mean, swords wouldn't be used any more. It sounds like a kinda cool idea, but I don't know if it would be as good as the others.

I think we can all agree that AC would be awesome set in any historically important time period. It would be awesome if you could just go to the AC website and type in a time and place, and it just makes the game for you. Would want.

i honestly think that they just need to make an AC game that jumps time periods. You know, a multi-disc one that has at least 3 people you play as through the animus and each one has a fully fleshed-out story with minimal gimmicky mini-games. i would vouch for a WWII europe, revolution era Russia (WWI in there for a bit), and Rome under Nero.

And after that i think the last game should have a lot of focus on the modern/futuristic part of the story, not just in a hiding place with an animus, but an open world with the ability to use the animus at will and go to ancient Sumeria, where it all began!!!! anyway if ancient Sumeria isn't in the series somehow ill be supermad.

Nazis do seem more like the Templar, though. They took pride in the knight ideology.

Maybe an inner group of German assassins set to take down their regime?

Unfortunately they have already announced they WILL NOT make an assassins creed game in WW1, WW2 or the Cold War. They claim it would be too boring and possibly overdone.

I feel like it could be done, but it would be difficult. A lot of WWI was just sitting in a trench shooting someone in another trench. And getting sick.

I would play the **** out of this.

You're lying to yourself if you say you wouldn't.

The use of the Assassin's symbol here implies the Assassins are WITH the Nazis, not against.
This would make no sense.

Wait, OP, is he a Nazi, or assassinating Nazis?
User avatar #47 to #45 - kanatana (03/07/2013) [-]
Nope. I'd think that Desmond would remember having a grandfather who was a Nazi.
