Some people are just too ******* stupid to recognize sarcasm even in the most obvious cases.
User avatar #10 to #9 - xzynth (02/17/2013) [-]
If it was so painfully obvious that you was sarcastic, then why have you been thumbed down multiple times?
#12 to #10 - fuckyosixtyminutes (02/17/2013) [-]
Because this site is crawling with idiots like yourself.

Given that you tried to convey sarcasm, a device invented by and for the spoken word, through text, maybe it is you that is the idiot.

If you think sarcasm is only for spoken word then it's definitely you. Maybe you should have paid more attention in your GED English class.

Additionally, you're kind of a dick. You should probably work on that.

Sarcasm requires multiple parts of the brain to process. It is a complex human concept. This concept is best expressed with the aid of tone and context, which the internet robs you off.

On the internet, its hard to assume someone isnt a dumbass. Its usually the norm.

Lastly, **** off, im still in high school.

Just about every form of non-literal communication is best expressed in person, so that's hardly an excuse for you assuming someone would actually be offended by gender assumptions about ******* chess pieces. You would think someone who was still in school, where presumably English is required every year like most schools, would be able to spot obvious sarcasm.

I also find a lot of irony in you complaining about me being a dick when you're calling me an idiot and saying you assumed I was a dumbass. Sorry, is "irony" one of the things you have to hear orally for you to understand it too? Well either way, if you have a problem with someone being mean to you on the internet, tell it to your ******* guidance counselor and get yourself a free pamphlet on dealing with cyberbullying.

I guess the main difference here is that you assumed I was a dumbass whereas I concluded you were one from overwhelming evidence.

1) He doesn't know you. Neither do the majority of the people here.
2) Sarcasm, best used when physically speaking to someone. Otherwise, difficult to tell.
3) There are people out their who would say that and mean it. You didn't blatantly expose it as sarcasm.

You have no evidence. Stop trying to act smart. Kill yourself.
