And I'm going to Italy next year or the year after, so French wouldn't get me incredibly far.
I've forgotten a lot of it, but I still remember some basics.

dengekisushi (02/17/2013) [-] I took German for my freshman year of high school, then I transferred to a school for two years that didn't offer German, and since I hate the living wits out of Spanish, I opted for French and I got hooked.
I took it for two years at that high school, went back to my old high school, then took French over again for a year at community college. I love the language; I'm better at speaking it than reading it.
