first off: why would her publicist ask for them to be taken down? any publicity is generally good publicity. this is almost exactly like the whole Kanye/Taylor Swift thing. they had something like that planned, just so people would have something to talk about.
That, and I dont think you can be a publicist, understand social psychology and just generally have a basic understanding of technology and the internet and "ask for a picture to be taken off the internet"
think about it for a moment. just drop the joke. its not even that good of a reaction image, and half the hype of it is "teehee, they dunt wan deese pitchurs on duh innernetz" and she can get none of the hype or attention she clearly doesnt deserve.
