Alienware was terrible. Got one three years ago and sent it back immediately. Horrible build quality and noisy as hell under slightest load.
This has vastly changed, though. I recently got an M17x R4 at work and it is in fact an amazing (and fast) machine. Nicely built, reasonably quiet even under considerable load (still gets noisy under full load of course) and a great screen and keyboard.

If I recall this is based on the foot of a gecko. There are fibers that end in fractally split ends, resulting in a massive number of points of contact and therefore higher friction.

guys, just if you don't know or are curious, the front page of funnyjunk is basically the same as what was on front page of reddit yesterday, im not hating, just letting you know that if you want to get thumbs or w/e just go to reddit and just upload from there, the 'browsing the internet' in descrip, means i found on front page of reddit yesterday, but serisouly, just about everything on fj was on reddit yesterday, just saying, and no i dont care in the least about thumbs

Yeah they are photo sharing websites, sure people are using them just to get thumbs, but why do you give a shit? It was entertaining, and you can just skip it. And its not like theyre benefiting from their thumbs other than the slight rush of feeling "popular" online because you got 1 frontpage image... ever...
