Uninformed, misguided, socialist, foreign, unpatriotic, gullible, racist, unamerican and stupid people came out in droves and re-elected one of the worst US presidents ever. That's how we won.
User avatar #46 to #31 - Marker (02/12/2013) [-]
Or maybe people with brains re-elected him. Yeah, that seems a little more likely.

Rather than spewing obscenities and repeating everything Fox says, how about you actually provide some proof as to how Obama is a "socialist" or "unamerican"?
User avatar #61 to #56 - mkchillin (02/12/2013) [-]
How he's un-American:
1) Only one of his parents is American
2) The US state he was (briefly) raised in wasn't on the mainland and was full of people who aren't Americans and who harbor anti-colonial views (like his father)
3) He grew up in Indonesia
4)His "Christian" beliefs are questionable at best and the "church" that he DID partake in was led by a guy saying white people should all die
5) He bowed to an Arab King

How he's Socialist:
1) He has greatly expanded the powers, prevalence and authority of the Federal Government
2) He personally initiated "universal" health care which will impose a mandatory tax on Americans, the biggest tax increase in history if I'm not mistaken
3) An increasingly large number of people receiving "entitlements" has bloated under his reign, feeding into Socialists/Liberals' idea of a dominate State authority having control over the masses
4) He has intervened in the free market (ie, the auto industry)
5) He is slowly but surely threatening our 2nd amendment rights
User avatar #66 to #61 - Marker (02/12/2013) [-]
Let's debunk each and every one of those shall we?
1) Only one of his parents is American
If you are born in the United States, you are an American citizen, regardless of where your parents come from.
2) The US state he was (briefly) raised in wasn't on the mainland and was full of people who aren't Americans and who harbor anti-colonial views (like his father)
Hawaii became the 50th state of the US in 1959. It is part of the United States of America, and to call it "unamerican" is just stupid.
3) He grew up in Indonesia
Living there with his mother and step-father from 1967 to 1971 can hardly be called "growing up" there.
4)His "Christian" beliefs are questionable at best and the "church" that he DID partake in was led by a guy saying white people should all die
There are a few things wrong with this statement, so much so that I need to make my own sub-list:
1) Just because the guy who headed the church had insane beliefs, doesn't mean that every attendee agrees with him.
2) Being a devout Christian is not a requirement to being President.
3) Separation of church and state; does that mean anything to you? ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof")
5) He bowed to an Arab King
He was showing respect for the man and the country's customs. Respecting other countries is not "unamerican."

1) He has greatly expanded the powers, prevalence and authority of the Federal Government
I'm going to assume you're talking about the executive orders rumor, to which I will provide you with this: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/executiveorders.asp
2) He personally initiated "universal" health care which will impose a mandatory tax on Americans, the biggest tax increase in history if I'm not mistaken
Universal health care? Don't be silly, that's for economically advanced countries!
Seriously, though, so many other countries have it, including Canada and many nations in Europe.

I ran out of comment room. Let's continue:
3) An increasingly large number of people receiving "entitlements" has bloated under his reign, feeding into Socialists/Liberals' idea of a dominate State authority having control over the masses
Entitlements? HA! You mean foodstamps and welfare? Those have been around long before Obama took office in 2008.
4) He has intervened in the free market (ie, the auto industry)
He saved the auto industry from collapsing, something Romney wouldn't have done (and speaking of Romney, who do you think brought the idea of mandatory universal healthcare to the state of Massachusetts?)
5) He is slowly but surely threatening our 2nd amendment rights
Wanting a little restriction on gun sales (i.e. better background checks) does not make someone anti gun the same way that wanting traffic laws doesn't make someone anti car. Obama is not trying to take anyone's guns. That is a well spun lie by the Republican Congressmen, who are actually trying to do the same damn thing.

Since when is Anti-colonialism bad? I though colonialism was considered to be a pretty bad thing.
#63 to #61 - mericafuckyeah (02/12/2013) [-]
1. It doesnt matter if your parents are American. Both of my parents are Irish, yet I am a natural born, patriotic, American citizen. Also he was only raised by his American parent
2. Hawaii is as American as any other state. The anti-colonial views people hold there is equivalent to saying all of Alabama is full of racist Klan members.
3. He lived in Indonesia for 3 years, not most of his childhood.
4. Being religious and being American are completely unrelated.
5. Bowing to the King was a sign of respect, just as shaking hands in America is.

He's divided us, he's eroded away classical American ideals, our unemployment rates, gas prices, national debt and taxes have risen under him, he's expanded the power and influence of the fed, his loyalty and love to America is questionable at best, and he's a liar.

If he was a white republican they'd be demanding his impeachment.
#59 to #43 - astafarianp (02/12/2013) [-]
31 months of Job growth, Trimmed $400 billion of of the yearly deficit, man what a shitty economy. And also the President doesn't have anything to do with gas prices, high gas prices are not his fault nor Bush's fault, they are the greedy oil companies fault. They've done that before in the 70s to create the energy crisis. Things have actually been slowly getting better. And your claim that his love of American is questionable has no basis in fact or evidence. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but don't make shit up.

Ah yes. Apologies, I've only seen the scene once and never wanted to again. Although, my point still stands. Dropping a metal chain down a loaded barrel will most likely end with a catastrophic failure.
