huh....I did not know that.

You can't make folders on the desktop that have "System Action" or "Device" references such
as con, nul and prn. Solution is to use another name or use 0 instead of o,O for C0n.
Here are others :
CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9,
LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9

User avatar #56 to #40 - Arrrgimmapirate (02/03/2013) [-]
As with the other gentleman who commented on my comment, I stated, "only had one." "One," is a singular term.

In the original Microsoft Operating Systems, these special folders were made to aid in preforming certain tasks, like con was used to store what ever was printed onscreen. To help backwards compatibility, these folders are not able to be made in newer versions of the operating systems.
User avatar #30 to #21 - Mandible (02/03/2013) [-]
con wasn't the name of a folder at all. con stood for console (keyboard). as in "copy con autoexec.bat" .....that would copy everything you typed from the console into a file called autoexec.bat

COM# and LPT# were special names used by things linked to the computer; LPT, in particular, was used for serial printer links.
