I'm not addicted to caffeine and sugar. I can stop consiming them anytime I want. I just don't want to, since I'll go into a coma if I do.

Fructose Corn Syrup, not sugar.

Pretty misleading. The person who put this project together took the amount of whatever type of sugar was in each drink, then weighed that in pure table sugar, which would be far worse for you than drinking whatever drink you're comparing it to.

Not saying the student was wrong to say these drinks are bad for you, but he/she was wrong to not explain the difference.

At the Demon Firesage boss wall. There is a hole to the right. Follow the roots down to the bottom, there will be some maggots there. If you open the door (have to be part of the Chaos Daughters covenenant +2) you can kill the Sunlight Maggot that hollows Solaire. There is also a bug where if you use poison and toxic mist through the door you can kill it without having to be in the chaos daughters.
User avatar #166 to #164 - nexonman (02/02/2013) [-]
**** so that's why that door was never open. walp, might as well try that in ng++. i always kill Quellag's sister for the fire keeper soul. any perks or equipment to being CDc+2?
User avatar #167 to #166 - namdelliks ONLINE (02/02/2013) [-]
Yeah. Just joining straight up gives you the pyromancy "Great Chaos Fireball" (similar to fire orb, but leaves a pile of lava like quelaags attacks.) +1 grants no bonuses and +2 grants Chaos storm pyromancy and the shortcut to Lost Izalith. (where the maggot is)
User avatar #170 to #167 - nexonman (02/02/2013) [-]
ah, that would be why i can't use my chaos fireball or whip. that will definitely help me in ng++, thanks dude

You sir are retarded. Just because someone probably told you that when you were 8 doesn't mean it's true. It's completely false and irrelevent to the drink. The whole 'shrinks your testicles' thing just comes from the fact that it has Yellow 4 in it, a food coloring that is in a lot more than just mountain dew.

I didn't realize FJ had so many nutritionists with a degree from a college where they went and studied nutrition. I would just like to say a few things, first of all: all sugar is bad for you if large amounts, secondly: there are no concurant studies proving that Corn Syrup is worse than normal sugar, third: there are more studies that prove its not the type of calories you take in that affects you weight so much as the quantity you fat ***** (6000 calories of whole grain will make you just as fat as 6000 calories of sugar or protein the difference is your body needs less sugar than it does fiber or protein so it doesn't burn as much of it off naturally as it does other things, but eventually the same is true for other types of calories.

TLDR; intake less calories you fat *****

ok 1 the water shouldnt have sugar in and 2 if there was that much sugar in those bottles it wouldnt be able to disolve and like 80% of those bottles would be sugar

Sugar-free = Aspartame
Aspartame is a sweetener that in the 70's proved to increase cancer development (just like Caramel).
If you look at some Whey powders, their labels still advertise "Aspartame Free", because Aspartame was a popular sweetener (tastes sweet, but no calories = magic); then when they figures stuff out, they removed it and replaced it with good ol' dextrose. And for fear of low sales, started plastering their products with "Aspartame Free" to keep their customers.
#209 to #181 - kingothy (02/02/2013) [-]
Caramel is just sugar and water that has been heated! It doesn't cause cancer! Pretty much the opposite of aspartame.
User avatar #201 to #181 - mcwachner (02/02/2013) [-]

I rather have sugar than aspartame.
User avatar #119 to #113 - srapture (02/02/2013) [-]
I've had it a few times and it's not bad. The claim that it's taste is indistiguishable from regular Coca Cola is wrong, but it's not as bad as diet coke.
