Yeah, you can win. It's actually pretty loose with the winning conditions.

I managed to win with several bone fragments and a scalpel in his chest cavity. His heart was also upside down and his lungs were somewhere on the floor. Somewhere.

If I remember correctly, Mitt Romney did say NOT to help out the 3 major US car brands and let them topple over. That alone would have put millions out of a job. Not only at headquarters, but new/used car dealerships, repair shops, and part stores. You cannot even comprehend the ripple effect that would cause. Obama stepped in, bailed them out, and they all paid back IN FULL plus the U.S. government owns a large share of GM now. Now they can push cleaner vehicles. If Romney was President at that time, he would have thrown the US into more problems than we ever had, close to the housing market crisis. That reason alone is the reason I'm glad he's not in office.

So you are telling me, that when the U.S. government gave Chrysler a ton of money to bail them out, that Chrysler is NOT going to hire someone to help them out? I mean, that would have been the general idea right? CMON! Think a little bit. Don't believe 100% what the media puts in your head. I know this first hand. The local news NEVER reports exactly how things go down. Same goes for national news. You have to think outside the box. Chrysler got money, and they hired/partnered up with someone to put together a plan to stay afloat. They can't just get the money and say "well, we have money, we are fine." Lol. Now Fiat gets all the glory. Please. You sound like a 9-5 worker that only does and thinks what he's told.

What i'm seeing in the comments is that you're all afraid of free health care because it'll reduce the quality of care. That sounds really stupid, if you're injured or sick and go to the hospital and aren't injured or sick anymore that should be good enough. You also make it sound like doctors don't give a **** about helping people anymore (granted there are a minority of doctors that do) like if they're not getting paid they won't treat you. People seemed to forget doctors made a Hippocratic oath. of course they probably won't have the time to see you for the full 10 minutes they normally do go to see you but if you're still alive the next day, then you shouldn't complain about the quality of care.
#126 to #112 - areyouawakeyet (02/02/2013) [-]
amerifag reporting,
the 'quality of healthcare' excuse is just an excuse. conservative people here tend to think that any government intervention is socialist, and if its socialist, it must be communist and evil.
they fail to see that by having universal healthcare, you stop the spread of disease because now there is no reason not to go to the doctor. overall health of the nation increases, as does productivity, which, in turn, can lead to a boon for business.
the only people against it are those who don't want to pay taxes on their massive wallets.
tl;dr - why the **** are we the only developed nation without universal healthcare?

yeh, im gonna get very happy when i get a disease and then it becomes chronic :D
#127 to #124 - JHDog (02/02/2013) [-]
tell me, what's your definition of chronic?
#138 to #127 - ilikepatatas (02/02/2013) [-]
when you get a wrong diagnosis and use the wrong drugs there is a chance that the bacteria that causes your disease fortifies and becomes immune or resistant to some drugs making the disease to last for weeks or months
example: you have conjuntivitys and use the wrong drugs, the bacteria that causes it fortifies, making the actual drug that you need to cure your eye/s less efective to that bacteria
in lamest terms NORMAL GERM+DRUG= 1-2 weeks SUPER SAIYAN GERM + DRUG = 2-3 months
so basically when we use wrong drugs or even the correct drug in a wrong time it has the same effect in a germ than in a saiyajing when you beat him (BUT NOT KILL)
-sorry if my english was bad
#148 to #138 - JHDog (02/02/2013) [-]
That's actually wrong, drug resistant bacteria (most commonly known as MRSA aka the super bug) become drug resistant through evolution (evolution occurs faster in bacteria because they reproduce a lot quicker) and that is not caused by using the "wrong drug". It is caused by neglecting your dosage of the antibiotics that prescribed by you. So yes if you prescribed the wrong drug, you probably would get sick because it just doesn't work, but it wouldn't fortify the drug. If a doctor were to prescribe you the wrong drug, they know they are liable for your safety. So they will do what they must to help regardless of profit incentive.
#181 to #148 - ilikepatatas (02/02/2013) [-]
No , actually all bacteria can evolve against a type of drug if we give em enough time to do it, thats the reason of why some drugs must be consumed "every 4 hours/3 hours/ 2 hours/ETC"

Pretty much everyone I've talked to (granted, I don't talk much politics) that hates Obama care actually has no ******* idea what it does. For example, if you would compare it in any way to Canadian health care, you're an idiot.

In a nutshell, what it does is require you to have health insurance. PRIVATIZED health insurance. Same stuff you've always been using. If you don't have it, you have a pay a tax (which is cheaper than actual insurance anyway). If you're so poor you can't afford that tax, you don't have to pay it (and you're probably on Medicaid anyway).

The reasoning for this is two-fold. First, all those people without insurance... who do you think is paying for them when they get in an accident, anyway? A hospital can't just tell you to **** off and die (literally) and tax-payers end up eating the bills they can't pay. Second, it allows the removal of the "previous condition" exclusion, where if you had asthma as a kid, you could be totally screwed out of insurance. Thing is, nobody would buy insurance until they got hurt if you weren't required to, and insurance wouldn't work.

Obama care also does a few other things like say preventative healthcare must be free. A colonoscopy is unpleasant enough without having to pay for it to. But if the patient not having to pay $25 means catching cancer, it's good business for the insurance anyway. Chemo is hella expensive.

The final controversial thing it does is say birth control should be free. This is because a company could say they don't believe in it, but that choice unfairly affects all of their employees (who might disagree). "Find a different employer then," is a retarded argument and you know it. They could say, "You have to cover it," but then scumbag companies would just say that they "cover" a whopping $0.01 on it. So it's all or nothing.

#88 to #74 - CIS White Male (02/02/2013) [-]
ummmmm. they are not trying to take high powered assault weapons. they are trying to take all weapons. and the weapons they are referring to as "assault weapons" the most popular one displayed is a remington .223 semi auto hunting rifle. It just LOOKS like an assault weapon. and the healthcare is not free, it is a forced 6,000 dollar a year plan, 11,000 dollars if you smoke. Get your **** straight before you jump on the "Let's bash America" wagon.

the problem with this "free healthcare" is that as something becomes free the standard of care will go down. So arguably one of the best healthcare systems in the world will go down the ******* due to even longer waits and downgraded care. Don't even get me started on what it will do to the cost of health care for everyone else.

i never said we were number one. Based on the average waiting times for surgery and level of care provided. One can make a claim we are up there in the pecking order of things. He had my vote =p. I believe and honestly if you are taking money from someone else need it be aid or something along those lines. You have waived your right to have that "privacy" per say. My "big idea" is allow welfare to be privatized. There is someone out there willing to do it, especially if you offer tax breaks for it. If a private person is helping those people they will make sure they truly need it and will work their hardest to get them off welfare. Since it is money out of their pocket.
User avatar #237 to #231 - blarglestheclown (02/02/2013) [-]
honestly not a bad idea , but the corporations in charge of it would in turn need to be closely monitored so they wouldn't monopolize on the situation. However that is a great idea privatization would be a great check and balance system for welfare
