Let me back up a bit. I sometimes make videos, and when I do, I always export the frames as image sequences then convert those to a video, splicing the audio in at that stage as well. It's more complicated but it prevents the loss of the entire export if a crash occurs, which has saved my ass several times. My videos are usually several thousand frames long.
Now lemme tell you about PNGs. They take 3 seconds or more to save (at res of 1080x1920), are barely compatible with Photo Viewer or irfanview, and are very LARGE; upwards of 5MB per uncompressed file. It takes far longer to save compressed PNGs and time is usually more valuable me than drive space. Around the production time of a very long and compex live action video which required hundreds of video layers (all requiring alpha levels), I started looking for a new format.
Enter: TARGA RAW. 24 bits of color, 8 bits of alpha, faster, smaller, simpler, and more reliable. It doesn't compress well but honestly, you'll never need to. TARGA RAW is the best thing since the last thing was the best thing, which it is no longer because of TARGA RAW.
of course tiff is still my file of choice for photoshop

myrtille ONLINE (01/31/2013) [-] Most GIFs have bad resolution because they're a series of pictures together. Expanding any picture will make it less recognizable. The only type of drawing I know of that doesn't lose resolution when it's expanded is a vector, but only in its original form. Once it's saved as a jpg or png you cannot resize unless you're making it smaller, really. Or if you don't mind blurriness.

emptysuperman (01/31/2013) [-] Though I prefer they way a PNG looks, I often have trouble with PNGs but never JPEGs. Stupid things like PNGs failing to download or downloading really weird, or the thumbnail being something different than the picture.

this is the absolute complete truth!!!!!
The reason a lot of Asians have completely expressionless faces, segregate from everybody else-only associate with Asians and don't associate with non Asians that much, are very untalkative, and are very unfriendly in general is to avoid accidentally revealing that they can read minds by accidentally showing a facial expression or dirty look when someone thinks, or visually pictures something in their mind they don't like, find astonishing, or funny etc because those people might see that and really wonder what that was that just happened there and see the connection, and they might accidentally say something similar to what the person was just thinking and going to say. If they all associated with non Asians a lot more then there would be a lot more people around for them to accidentally show facial expressions when those people think things they don't like etc, so they segregate and only associate with Asians so there won't be anyone around for them to see that and have any accidents happen in the first place.
Try thinking, best yet visually picturing in your mind something absolutely wild as you possibly can when you are around Asians, and try looking for Asians who give people particular looks, especially dirty looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.
