I know, that's what I do, the only time I ever got a virus was 2-3 years ago and it was my fault. I was very skeptical about the site I went on, and I took the bait, but the computer was as old as XP anyways.
But as I said before my friend pirated Binding of Isaac on my computer sometime late last year and got a virus.

Builds new computer. And the reasons I built the new computer is because
1.The other one was almost as old as I am
2.It permanently lost connection to the internet
3.The processor was slow as fuck
4.A lot of my games are on the computer, and not a lot of them were installed
5.110GB HDD
6.Fuck you because I can

Gamestop gives you less than you'd like because they're essentially charging a fee to sell your shit for you. If you're too lazy or stupid to sell your own games, then trade in games at Gamestop. If you know how to use EBay, then do so instead and you'll make more money. Most importantly, don't complain about Gamestop's perfectly legitimate business practices, as that is the epitome of childish ignorance. Only rednecks, swagfags, and niggers complain about such things.

while i agree with you, the real problem is that gamestop is a for profit business and people forget that. no one can just walk into a store to resell their used item and get full price for it.
the business needs to buy the item at about 50% resale value just to make a profit because they have other things that eat up their money like employee wages and stock management (this is why gamestop gives you a better bargain when you trade for in-store credit, they get new merchandise and free up some self space)
another problem is that moderately popular games go out of style fast and the price drops exponentially the older it gets until its worth practically nothing and then its hardly worth re-buying. more popular games however have much slower price drops but after a few years they still become worthless to companies trying to make profit.

Part of the problem is people also don't really know the value of the games they are selling. Honestly when was the last time you decided to go through and play all your old games from the ps2? Sure there maybe a timeless gem here and there but on the large scale of things the majority of old games just don't hold value.
actually after becoming aquainted with the employees theyve on a regular basis let me use their "powerup cards" and get their discounts on games. and even bought items straight from me for a higher price then i would get selling it to the company. remember the employees are usually cool as fuck, its the company that sucks
Quit bitching, it's the business world, to buy low and sell high.
You want good deals?
Sell to your friends, go on eBay, etc.
Gamestop is a business, you want a deal then sell them during deals like "Trade in 2 game and get *insert game* for $10".
Not to mention that they don't buy older games for cost because older games don't have as large of a market.
Any game that has come out in the past 2 years or is part of a large franchise is worth well over $8 at EB Games, which is owned by Gamestop.
Quit bitching about prices, you are a consumer, not a business, you got your money's worth out of those games.

I returned a controller and 10 games. Can't recaal all of them but they werent all big games and I got $130. The gamestop near my house has amazing deals and the best custoer service
Let's say you got 20 for the controller. This means that you got 11$ per game. Which isn't bad by gamestop standards, but if you paid 60$ for those games then you've just got a terrible loss. You were better off keeping the games rather than being able to buy 2 new games, if that's what you were going to do.
I traded in Halo 4 and Assassins Creed 3 and got around 70 in store credit. Wait till they have specials and deals, it's not hard. If you don't like the deal, you have the ability to say no when they tell you your total. Gamestop trade in isn't meant for cash either, trade for in store credit to get the better of the deal
My Wii, my Wii Fit board with game, my Wii Sports Resort with Motion plus, 2 remotes and nunchucks, and 20 games...
They gave me £60.
I feel violated.

AFAIK they all have the same prices unless there is a major boost in trade ins of a certain game/console. Besides, if you "feel violated" then why the fuck did you agree to it? It's like if someone asks to punch you in the face, you say yes, and then you fucking bitch about it.

I traded in 9 xbox games at blockbuster for a total of £11.50, games which included gta 4, skyrim, halo reach, mw2, cod 5. No wonder they went bust, fucking daylight robbery.

complaining about Gamestop buy-raping you is the equivalent to going to the "Pawn Stars" store and complaining that they undercut you.
IT'S A BUSINESS NOT A CHARITY.
