MAAAAYBE because the dude is a ************* genie?
He is supposed to be able to grant wishes, he needs to know what he is doing in order of doing it. If I wanted a 3rd century rug or some **** like that, and he couldnt grant my wish because he wouldnt know what it would look like, he wouldnt be of that much use!
WHICH ULTIMATELY MEANS THAT GENIE IS ************* ALL KNOWING

okay, assume that a previous master had his first wish used on time travel capabilities, then the other two on who knows what. The genie might have seen this stuff as he was tagging along with his (then current) master.

It's called breaking the fourth wall.
Deadpool does it "oh so funny!"
Pinkie Pie does it "oh so funny!"
Genie does it "Here's a subtle plot key that can be twisted from its original and clear context into something that seems much more sinister than it ever was."

I'm high right now and this makes perfect sense. Will read when not baked to determine actual meaning.

Maybe it is proof that time is non-linear. An immortal with no limit in time and space could know everything.

This argument just contradicted itself. How would he know about Jack Nicholson if he was trapped in the lamp during that time? Either way, I think the real story is

he's a magical ******* genie
User avatar #120 - organicglory (01/28/2013) [-]
Or maybe its a movie made for kids

did you ever think of that?
User avatar #119 - downwiththesicknes (01/28/2013) [-]

Dr. Manhattan vs Unrestrained genie
who wins?

If the genie couldn't have known about 3rd century clothing because he was trapped in the lamp during that time, how could he have known who Groucho Marx and Jack NIcholson were if he had been trapped in the lamp since around 300 AD for 10,000 years?

The only explaination is the genie is in fact the 12th Doctor.
