the first time around will take about 5 hours minimum. Consider this as a legit book. You can skip the pages and dialogue just to see the ending, but you won't get the entire beauty of the story. I suggest stick with it and just keep going.

He is kind of a douchebag, but don't worry, keep going and try to get the paths with any of the girls and you will understand why we all love this visual novel.

Here's a tip so you don't get pissed off first time around. Don't go on the roof with Kenji... actually, just do your best to stay away from that guy.

be prepared to feel if you do hanako route, i would even suggest looking up the walkthrough, bad ending is soul destroying

i'm already 2 hours in helping emi in the art room get supplies for her and Rin did i already fuck up too bad to save it

i'd play it out, not done emi's route or rin's yet, but you can always do it again

I did Emi first.... I can't find quite the words to describe how I feel but I guarentee that if you continue with Emi, you will begin to love her along the way =]

I went with Emi because that's what people said to do. I wonder what I would have done otherwise. Maybe still Emi. I really like her.

When I just played through normally without trying to get a specific route I wound up with Emi good ending. My favorite character is Hanako and my favorite route is Lilly.

I went with Shizune. Then Rin.

I like my shoujos eccentric.

Nope. I played it and finished Hanako's route and sure, I felt sorry for her, but I didn't have the same reaction as everyone else.

I still enjoy the game though, it's really fun, the characters are great and so is the story

Though it's unlikely you'd get a diagnosis of any of the 4 main branches of what is considered psychotic because you've never been to prison, it might warrent caution if you've never felt an sympathetic connections to another human being though.

HOWEVER THIS IS A GAME, and though game of epic feels, it's not everyones cup of tea, and not every story line leaves you caring at all. Hanakos ripped my heart out... the others I just didn't find as an epic soul destroyed mess... (they were still very good). just on average most people liked it.

I have the same I think.
I completed 4 paths now and I think the story is great, has homor, and lots of drama indeed. But I could never catch myself being actually upset/hurt/whatever about the characters.

i wish i was warned lol, ive only done emi+ hanako's good routes. leaving shizune, lily and rin. Now I can't bear the thought of turning my back on hanako, and most likely am gonna go through the exact route just to see her progess from her shyness

If you can't get over Hanako's route, do Lilly's route. Trust me on this one. You'll feel so much better and you don't get as much feels.

I'm the exact same way, I just cant bring myself to try and follow another path after getting the Hanako good ending. The feels..

Emi gave me some pretty serious feels.

I know that feel all too well :( Every time I've played it since, i've done Hanako's path. Can't/Won't do any other.
