My point (haha) is that the branches at the top of trees are incredibly weak, and it's impossible to impale someone on a mass of leaves/needles

it is incredibly easy to impale yourself on thin small branches, have you ever been climbing a tree then slipped? The branches that are pointed at you pierce you, THEN break off.

I've never slipped climbing a tree, but I mean as you can see it shows the tree impaling her like a sword or something. She's not just impaled on a branch somewhere in the tree, it's like the trees a solid mass

Maybe Slendy dropped her from a helicopter, and she hit the exact top on her soft belly and slid right down the tree?

It would though, wood is much much stronger than you give it credit for, take a branch of pine double the diameter of your thumb and try to break it on your knee, it hurts, and often times it either won't break or it will take several tries and all you really accomplish is a severally bruised thigh just above the knee. And that's pine, the softest wood in existence. Oh and the branches of that tree would be about that size or a little smaller at the top on that size tree.

How would you get impaled on this? It would just bend or break and you'd fall off, it's just weak branches at the top of pine trees

Because if enough speed is in play then it will pretty much slide through like a hot knife through butter, not to mention all the small branches coming off the top of the trunk would either bend or snap off, thus the trunk would go right through you.

The trunk is basically a small branch at this point. It doesn't matter how fast you're travelling towards it - it wouldn't impale your body, your weight would break the trunk

If it wont impale you, I suppose you wouldn't mind slamming your palm down on the point of a stick.

he has been around for a long time he has been known as Grossman before though, there are woodcuts and entries in diaries and police reports and things. The name slenderman and powers and things and the idea of him wearing suits has been made very recently. This photo was taken before the man who lived there shot his wife and was taken to prison were he talked about slenderman to the police.

oh you asked about his powers, causing memory loss, distorting electrics, slendy sickness (headaches, vomiting, memory loss). makes you pass out, can make you dissapear for hours at a time no one knows where, he has slaves so maybe some form of mind control, turn off lights, can change height and length of limbs and body, appears and dissapears at will, he uses a low constant scream that you can't hear to find his way like a bat as he has no eyes, paralyses you, the more you know about him the more likely he is to get you (sorry)

In case you wondering the gifsi was posting are The Gentleman from Buffy the vampire slayer episode. I always thought slenderman was a ripoff from the gentleman but didn't realize slenderman was a creature. Now I realize the gentleman are probably based off slenderman because now I remember a scene in the episode where one of the guys pulls out a book of "fairy tales" and i never understood til now

Not mythological, he was made up fairly recently(as in this century) in either a creepypasta or by marblehornets. I forget which.
