I agree with OP, if anyone is less intelligent than me or wants to pick up free candy they deserve a piece of shrapnel lodged into their brain
Well, you see, the joke is, (in case you missed it)
The guy painted grenades different hues, and nailed the pins into the ground. in order to lure small children and anyone with lower than average intelligence to pick them up, resulting in a explosion.
Thus, with many unintelligent people killed in the blasts, the IQ was raised.
And Obama is leading in polls because this was drawn before the 2012 election, where Obama was heavily favored over John McCain.

**jurkowski rolled a random image posted in comment #2672647 at My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic ** Wouldn't killing all the idiots actually drop the average person's IQ? As has been mentioned before, IQ is centered around 100 always being average, with the actual average being anywhere from 95-105. If you killed everyone below 100, people with previously high IQs would have their IQ number lowered to match the new average.

No, we actually don't know.
Let us say p1 is the percent of people who are above average before idiots are killed
and let us say p2 is the percent of people who are above average after idiots are killed
if p2 > p1, then the average is increased
if p1 > p2, then the average is decreased
you need less % of above average people to make the average go down
we would be able to find out the answer if the standard deviation was a lot lower, though.

The smart are here for the stupid. Without the stupid, what are the smart?
i like to think i'm smart, but i would definitely go pick up an easter egg if i came across one.
Everyone you meet is smarter than you in some way. Everyone you meet can do something better than you can. While someone may seem stupid to you, due to a judgement based on 'They can't do math that well, therefore they are stupid' to them, the fact that you can't change your own oil, or some other handy-work skill, makes them think 'Sheesh, is this guy STUPID or what?'
This aspie guy I know sucks at playing cards, not that amazing at convo's and prob never get laid but holy fuck can that guy drive like a demon, and i havent drove since college. to which in a normal situation would have him drowning in da pussy, ah well.
I don't think they're stupid for not doing math though.
I think they're stupid because everyone seems mindless, driven by what society tells them to do, not what they want, following every new trend like they die if they don't, it confuses me.

But isn't good for them? To be in a mindless stupor of just happiness? Granite, a very worthless and meaningless happiness, but nevertheless, they still enjoy who they are and what not. And frankly, you might find it odd to see that 'I must do what society tells me' kind of people, are as evenly matched as 'I MUSN'T do what society tells me' because they're 2edgy4u, besides, we all follow a few trends ourself, nobody can deny that.
Actually, a trend just implies something getting popular, while you may not like it because of friends, a lot of people, even without knowing it, are heavily influenced by friends/family. Now, I get 'following a trend' is different from just a 'trend,' before you hop on that train.
