Stand up for what you believe no matter what the consequences...
If it doesn't hurt other people I don't see why they should care.

Those gay guys are more manly than any of us could ever hope to be.

hold on, being gay is not a choice but i'm pretty sure being african is
He's not kidding guys. I remember when I decided to be African. It was a hard choice, and coming out to my father was the hardest thing I have ever done. But it's how I wanted to life my life. I'm going to my African pride parade later this weekend! I want everyone to know that it's a lifestyle that we can all accept! Nigga!

The penalty is death because it's like a 75% chance you'll contract HIV.

Uh...marriage isn't a right. It's an agreement of consent between two people. Anyone who says otherwise is bullshitting you.
So, wait; why is the government involved in an agreement between two individuals in the first place, let alone an agreement that said two individuals will love and care for one another until death? And on the topic of rights; why would someone ever think that giving a particular group of people unique rights was a good idea? Because, from my understanding, rights are exclusively reserved for individuals only. So, please, correct me if I'm wrong here, but, from my understanding of what you've just told me, people who are married have more rights than those who are single.
because a marriage is a legal contract.

a lot of them are family rights, as in, rights you both share together
and no, corporations have specific rights, because they're treated as a single entity, just like a married couple is considered a single entitiy

Wait....now, from my understanding, rights should be reserved exclusively to the individual. Something like marriage isn't a right; it's, as I said before, an agreement between two individuals. Now, as I said before, that anyone who said otherwise is bullshitting you....well, it appears that whichever group decided to make these list of human rights (The United Nations, if I'm not mistaken) is, well....lying to your face, under the assumption of...Well, I'm not entirely sure, as I haven't actually looked up these so-called "Human Rights". I'm assuming, of course, that they're some list of rights that a group of nations have agreed to uphold, whether or not they actually are legitimate rights (an right, as I mentioned before, was something that only and individual could possess. Groups of people should never have group-specific rights that only apply to them.) Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not saying that the idea that two people should be able to love whomever they choose is wrong. Love is something that no person, no law, can define or constrict. However, I'm only saying that marriage doesn't count as a right, and should never count as one, mainly because of the fact that rights can be revoked by government.
Most countries don't give a shit about human rights, but they're pretty much the rights that is agreed everyone deserves.
With that being said the right to marriage implies that if to people do in fact want to marry each other, with said benefits and the rights that come with being married (varies by country etc.) They should be allowed to. Regardless of anything else. Including gender.
This also means that one has the right not to marry if it is an arranged marriage, and they cannot be disallowed to marry.
Now weather or not a right can be revoked is rather insignificant because theoretically a right is a right and cannot be revoked. (of course this isn't how it works out.)
Now when it comes to marriage being a right. I have the right to marry, and receive all the benefits of such within my are (country, state, city etc.) If the concept of marriage happens to not exist where I live then I am still allowed to.
Basically whatever the fuck constitutes as marriage where you live, you're allowed it, by choice, to whoever the fuck you want.
