Therefore, if v was higher than c, than v/c would be higher than 1, resulting in the square root of something that is negative, which is impossible

The square root of minus one equals i. His answer had that nasty little i in it. When he explains his answer he also adds that this is in the imaginary/complex direction. He made it so they generally move in the complex direction, the one thing we can't see. This is why he can safely state it and nobody can prove him wrong :)

This is bullshit, nothing can travel faster than light which speed is about 3x10^8 m/s. 1,5 gigametres per second is 1,5x10^9 m/s.

We actually haven't done that. If you're talking about the experiment at CERN in which the neutrino was measured to travel faster than the speed of light by 60nanoseconds over some distance that I can't remember, that was proven to be an error in the fiberoptic timing system. That is why no paper was published; they sent out the data for peer review and, sure enough, they found the problem.

Nothing possessing mass CAN achieve speed equal or greater than the speed of light. Boobs have mass. Also, the light itself cannot travel faster than the light speed, it can only be slowed down (for example, by using Bosy-Einstein condensate).

the black ole part is not true since to say that gravity attracts mass is simplyfying it, gravity actually attracts energy and mass is energy so that is why it is attracted, light however is pure energy and therefore has no mass but is still affected by the gravity of a black hole

not true, photons are mass less particles. if the higgs field is indeed true, then they fly right through it. but the reason black holes pull in light is because gravity is warping the space around it. its like warping where the light goes. like those car tracks shaped like big funnels in a way. light moves straight, but its road is curved in another dimension
