It's good to see that there's intelligent people on funnyjunk who realize that the earth was created and so was man, also realizing that "evolution" is just a perversion of God's processes.

Actually, by accepting the concept of evolution (in this case evolution of human), you are denying the superiority of the human itself. In the book, it is stated that human were created by God, and the first human is Adam and Eve. But at the same time, there are no indication that the book discussed about other creatures such as animals and plants. If human were created (not through a long evolutionary process from apes), that is just show how special we are. Why human succeeded in evolution, appearing to be superior to the other animals if the principal of evolution works in every way, every creatures in the world throughout time and space? Why human can build such civilization for a long time, very awesome engineering, knowledge, social structure etc. but not the tigers, elephants, even monkeys, orangutans, apes and what is so called ancient ancestors? Religion has the answer for this question. We are special, we are superior, because we are created for purposes. What purpose? It is what we can see today. To explore the knowledges (including science), to understand who we are and why we are here. But as time goes, when human discovered more and more knowledges, human becomes ignorant.
