I worked at a McDonald's for a year, we had bags of dill pickles that we kept outside the fridges with the bags of ketchup and mustard. We just prefilled plastic inserts and put a burger wrapper over them so they were ready on the fly. Also if I was in a bad mood extra pickles went from two to a ******* hand full

I work there currently and I do the same thing. Extra onions? Enjoy your extra crunchy ass burger.

I'm sorry, but I don't go to McDonalds for their fresh produce. I go there if I want warm food in a hurry.

Pretty sure McDonald's makes everything "to order" nowadays.

Their fries are another thing. Ask for unsalted fries and they will make a fresh batch. This is done in consideration for people who are watching their sodium intake.

Mcdonalds does precook food to a certain extent. if its a bit busy a store will tend to keep a few burgers depending on business. but only for a max of ten minutes. with chicken however everything is dressed to order the meat is kept warm for up to 20 minutes

I didn't learn this until I got the oldest, nastiest Baconator once. Tasted like it was sitting out for 5 hours.

Our manager was constantly doing inappropriate things like hitting on my gf who was a car hop there, and just all kinds of **** . The fact that the people who I worked with could speak English but refused making my job harder. It was just a mess of a place. I couldn't take it.

Makes sense. What do you do now?

Currently I am disabled due to an autoimmune issue. I will be going back to school once it's under control. I plan on being a vet tech.
