Hitler did use fear and promises of security to strip citizens of their rights while also promoting nationalism which is kind of the modern patriotism fore some americans. Bush and then Obama have been striping the citizens of their rights and promoting fear since 9/11. Also the first picture is pointing out that it's very similar how the both are using children to influence on people's emotions so that they support him while his taking away their right.

Germany was enacting gun control long before hitler's rise to power, If I remember correctly it was a few years after World War I. Furthermore, If I'm not mistaken, after world war I, Germany lost a lot of its rights as a country.

While I may agree with you that it's wrong to do that, every politician does that at some point in their lifetime.

Ughh ever heard of Treaty of Versailles.. Germany was forced to disarm after losing WW1, also paying reparations, which lead to the hyperinflation - the Weimar Republic, causing a collapse of the economy, which in turn lead to Hitlers uprising.. I am sure I missed some things, but in no way was Germany calling for disarmament after losing WW1. It was forced upon them. Hitler just passed more laws that further restricted gun ownership..

I'd say the same thing. when Hitler came around he was the one who GOT THE JOB DONE. Same as know it's getting easier with the "terrorist menace" and all this shootings. Which some people think are on purpose so that it's easier for them. i don't know. But I do know, that they shouldn't be taking the guns because some people are using them that way and making gun-free zones. It's counter productive.

I guess it's debatable if the end result they're planning is a totalitarian state. But if you have:
rights taken away from people
people getting dumber
government getting bigger
I think that someone will see the opportunity and take it. ( for power or profit, who knows).
